ACT 1
SCENE 1
INT. LIVINGROOM - NIGHT
It is raining.
We hear music playing looking into the window.
Freddie’s family is celebrating the Holidays.
We see Mariner sitting in a chair looking out the window.
MARINER O.S.
That’s me right there.
FREEZE FRAME - Inside with Mariner looking out the window.
MARINER O.S.
I didn’t want to be there. I knew something bad was going to happen.
UNFREEZE
From the dining table Freddie calls Mariner.
FREDDIE
(heavy British accent)
Come on Mare! Come join us! Toast!
MARINER O.S.
That’s my father.
FREEZE FRAME - Freddie pouring drinks.
UNFREEZE - Mariner walks next to Freddie.
The family is all grabbing drinks to make a toast.
MARINER
I’m not sure if I want to be here.
FREDDIE
Which’s why you should be here.
Freddie side hugs Mariner and hands her a glass of wine.
FREDDIE
Thank you all for coming!
Freddie clinks a fork on his glass to gather everyone’s attention.
FREDDIE
I know family is one of a kind, and ours is definitely one.
He looks at Mariner.
FREDDIE
I’m blessed some woman left Mariner with me back in 2001 and we actually had a white Christmas! But! I would never want another one because the woman may come back and steal my precious Mare from me.
The family laughs.
FREDDIE
Here’s to Happy Holidays, Mare another year older, and if you crash on your way home, its not my fault. Thank You! Cheers!
Glasses clink together and they drink.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner drinking half her glass.
MARINER O.S.
Like he said, about 26 years ago my mother left me on his porch. It began to snow. That doesn’t happen in London at this time of year. I know why.
UNFREEZE - Mariner finishes her glass of wine.
She is hugged by family members.
Mariner watches everyone and is nervous looking out the window.
SCENE 2
INT. LIVING ROOM - MIDNIGHT
Everyone leaves for the night.
Mariner closes the front door.
A decorative metal sheet with round glass covers the wall.
MARINER
Bye! Thank you for the gift!
Mariner turns around.
Freddie holds his arms out.
FREDDIE
Well? What did you think?
Mariner sits down on the couch.
MARINER
It was good. The wine was better last year.
Freddie sits across from her by the window.
He has a full glass of wine.
FREDDIE
The wine better? I don’t think so. You’re just getting older.
Freddie looks out the window.
It is raining.
FREDDIE
And stronger. What has you down?
Mariner looks past him and stares blankly in fear.
FREDDIE
Mare?
Freddie stops just as he was going to take a drink scared.
SLOW MOTION - Mariner standing and Freddie turning around.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner pushing her hands forward with palms open and fingers bent.
MARINER O.S.
My name’s Mariner. Also known as...
UNFREEZE
The rain has turned to snow.
The window breaks.
Ice starts to cover all surfaces.
The room becomes bitter cold.
Snow appears from the snow.
SNOW
Storm1!
FREEZE FRAME - Freddie hits the ground.
Mariner is shooting lightening from her hands at Snow.
UNFREEZE
SNOW
I’ve been waiting for this day!
FREEZE FRAME - Snow stands with a big grin.
MARINER O.S.
That’s Snow. He’s been trying to kill me for over 20 years.
UNFREEZE
Snow approaches Mariner.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner covers her head in her arms.
MARINER O.S.
He wants my power to be stronger.
UNFREEZE - Snow creates a large ice spear to try and stab Mariner.
FREEZE FRAME- Mariner looks him in the eyes.
MARINER O.S.
This looks better than the first time.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 3
EXT. QUEEN’S WOOD LONDON - DAYTIME
Mariner is 5 years old.
Freddie sets up a picnic.
Young Mariner takes off running.
MARINER O.S.
That’s me again. 5 years old.
YOUNG MARINER
Let’s play hide and seek!
FREDDIE
Mariner! Come back here! We can play later.
Freddie drops paper plates and walks after Mariner.
YOUNG MARINER
But I want to play!
FREDDIE
We have been all morning! Come on! It’s time for midday meal.
Mariner runs and hides in the woods.
Freddie tries to catch up with her.
YOUNG MARINER
I’m not hungry! I want to make it rain!
FREDDIE
I know we agreed on that, but eating is important.
Young Mariner stops and looks up into the sky.
It starts to rain.
FREEZE FRAME - Young Mariner smiles.
MARINER V.O.
Yep. I can make it rain. I can make it storm. I am Storm1.
UNFREEZE
Freddie takes his glasses off and puts them in his shirt pocket.
As he wiped his forehead of raindrops snow began to fall.
FREDDIE
Snow? Mariner.
Young Mariner screams.
FREDDIE
Mariner!
Freddie is frantic and finds her.
YOUNG MARINER
Let me go!
(begs for help)
Daddy!
FREEZE FRAME - Snow is holding young Mariner by her shoulders off the ground with her legs kicking.
MARINER O.S.
Frozen with fear was too literal. This was the first time Snow tried to kill me. If you haven’t figured it out, he can control Snow and Ice.
UNFREEZE
FREDDIE
Look now. You let her go and take me instead.
SNOW
I don’t think so.
FREDDIE
Please!
Freddie falls to his knees covering his mouth crying.
FREDDIE
Let her go.
(Softly)
Please.
Snow sends a blizzard of snow towards Freddie knocking him over.
SNOW
I’ve been looking for you. Storm1.
FREEZE FRAME - Snow is face to face with young Mariner.
MARINER V.O.
I am called Storm1 being the first storm born from my mother. They weren’t very creative with names. I met a Sunny62. He went by Lance. He died for me. Snow killed most of Sunny’s kids. Others hide.
UNFREEZE
YOUNG MARINER
Let me go!
Young Mariner uses her powers to saturate Snow and slip out of his grasp.
SNOW
Come here you little brat!
Snow sends snow from his hands to cover Mariner in ice.
Mariner hugs herself to make herself wet with a rain cloud hovering over her downpouring.
SNOW
Nice try!
Snow turned himself into snow and vanished.
Young Mariner takes a step.
Snow reappears kneeling to grab young Mariner by the throat with both hands.
SNOW
Give me your powers!
Snow chokes Mariner with both his hands and starts to freeze her body.
Young Mariner makes it rain more.
SNOW
Thanks for helping me.
Snow is turning her rain into ice.
Mariner stops using her powers and is frozen in ice from her neck down to her feet.
SNOW
I have one of Sunny, Swift, and myself. All I’ve needed for centuries is Storm! Then I will freeze the ocean and float on ice in space back to wherever the hell we came from!
SUNNY
Snow!
The clouds part in the sky and a beam of light shines right behind Snow.
FREEZE FRAME - Sunny appears warming everything and causing steam in the beam.
MARINER V.O.
That’s Sunny! My hero! I went my whole life wanting to meet him again. I also just wanted to know more about me. Us. Even Snow and my mom.
UNFREEZE - Snow began to melt and threw young Mariner to the ground.
SNOW
Fine. Have it your way Sunny!
Snow walks backwards.
Sunny walks toward him.
SUNNY
Snow!
Snow turns into snow and disappears laughing manically.
The ice and snow melt on the ground and from young Mariner.
Freddie stands and runs to young Mariner.
SNOW O.S.
I will prevail! Her powers will be mine!
Sunny shouts into the sky.
SUNNY
Get back here and face me!
Freddie holds Mariner in his arms rocking side to side.
FREDDIE
Oh for the love of God. Please! No. It’s all my fault.
YOUNG MARINER
I’m sorry. I will never run off again. I will never play again. I want to go eat Midday meal.
Freddie looks at Sunny.
FREDDIE
Thank you.
Freddie stands.
SUNNY
(Smiles)
Never play again. Now that’s harsh.
Beat.
Sunny approaches young Mariner.
All the clouds disappear and the sky shines very blue with the sun glistening down on young Mariner.
YOUNG MARINER
Thank you!
Young Mariner looks up at Sunny.
YOUNG MARINER
You’re like me!
Sunny smiles and places his hands on young Mariner’s shoulders looking her in the eyes kneeling.
SUNNY
Yes and no. Special and not human. But, I am Sunny.
YOUNG MARINER
And I am Stormy!
SUNNY
Yes. I promised your mother, Storm, I would watch over you. I have been. But as you grow up, your powers will grow. You need to practice them and protect the ones you love.
Sunny looks at Freddie.
FREDDIE
Oh thank the lord! And thank you Mr... Sunny was it.
Freddie held his hand out for a shake.
Sunny shakes it.
SUNNY
No problem. It will take a while for Snow to build up his powers again. I want you to take this.
Sunny removes the necklace with a sun on it and places it around young Mariner.
SUNNY
This will keep you warm.
Young Mariner looks at it and pulls her necklace out with a cloud and lightening bolt.
YOUNG MARINER
It’s just like mine.
SUNNY
Yes. It’s very special to me. So take care of it.
Sunny looks at Freddie.
SUNNY
And you keep taking care of her. Pretty soon, she’ll have more power than you could imagine. Places like this are great for practice. But know others will come after her.
Freddie nods his head.
FREDDIE
What do I do?
SUNNY
Not much you can do.
YOUNG MARINER
I’ll use my powers.
SUNNY
Be careful with them.
Sunny walks off.
SUNNY
You can trust Swift. But I gotta’ go.
A beam of sunlight blinds Freddie.
YOUNG MARINER
Bye, Sunny!
Young Marine waves.
Freddie is unable to look into the beam of light, covering his eyes.
SUNNY
Bye
FREEZE FRAME - Young Mariner is able to see within the beam of sunlight and watches Sunny fly off into the sky.
UNFREEZE
Freddie grabs Mariner’s hand and they start to walk.
Beat.
FREDDIE
I guess this means we have to come here more often.
YOUNG MARINER
You mean...
(excited)
I can use my powers more!
Freddie nods his head yes.
MARINER O.S.
Oh! Did I love practicing my powers!
Young Mariner looks at her necklace.
CUT TO:
SCENE 4
INT/EXT. MARINER’S HOME - CONTINUOUS
Freddie walked outside to open an umbrella just in time to not be drenched in water.
Mariner is giggling.
FREEZE FRAME - Freddie held his hand out catching rain.
MARINER V.O.
He got good at not getting wet. But when I was a teenager...
CUT TO:
UNFREEZE - Teen Mariner is being scolded for a bad test grade.
Beat.
Teen Mariner makes an angry pouting face.
Clouds appear around her.
Rain starts to fall inside.
FREDDIE
Don’t you even dare! Protect!
Teen Mariner stops her storm as lightening was about to strike.
Teen Mariner is upset and runs to her room.
FREEZE FRAME - Teen Mariner slams the door.
MARINER V.O.
I was more troubled than other teens.
UNFREEZE - Freddie sighs.
FREDDIE
Where’s the book on raising teenage demi-gods.
MARINER O.S.
I love my dad and all he’s done for me.
Freddie looks outside to see it raining.
CUT TO:
SCENE 5
EXT. CRUISE SHIP - DAYTIME
Mariner and Freddie sit on the deck of a cruise ship in the rain.
MARINER O.S.
I did meet Swift.
The wind blew violently.
Freddie and Mariner got up to run.
The wind direction changed.
The ship called all everyone back to their rooms.
Mariner stopped getting caught between two gusts.
Mariner made a typhoon form around her.
SWIFT
Good girl, Mariner! Keep it up.
Freddie stopped to watch.
Swift and another woman appeared in the wind.
Both ran to Mariner.
Mariner looked through her typhoon.
Mariner could see both woman.
Mariner saw a glisten around the neck of Swift.
Mariner pushed her typhoon at the other woman.
SWIFT
Thank you!
Swift turned to wind and carried the other woman out to sea.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner watching in calm dry air.
MARINER V.O.
She was like the wind to be there one second and gone another.

SCENE 6
EXT. STREETS OF LONDON - MORNING
FREEZE FRAME - Sunny protecting Mariner.
MARINER V.O.
Sunny showed up a couple times. He never stayed to talk.
UNFREEZE - Sunny disappearing in the sun.
Mariner looks at her necklaces.
MARINER O.S.
When I got older...

SCENE 7
EXT. SIDEWALK - MORNING
Teen Mariner is walking to school.
The fog began to fill the area.
Teen Mariner looks around in the fog to see a shadow.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner disappears.
MARINER V.O
I protected myself.
UNFREEZE
The foggy person searches around.
They make the fog go away.
Mariner reappears above them.
She drops down and strikes them with a bolt of lightening.
MARINER O.S.
Some were easy.
Mariner stopped to look at a young man laying on the ground.
She made it start raining and disappeared into the sky.
CUT TO:
SCENE 8
INT. TRAIN - NOON
Mariner sits on the train with Freddie.
MARINER O.S.
Others...
Mariner is looking out the window making the rain go in the direction she moves her finger.
She notices condensation building up on the windows inside.
FREDDIE
It’s getting warm in here. Is that you?
MARINER
No.
Mariner looks around the train.
MARINER
I’m going to look around.
FREDDIE
Be careful. Stay here if you can.
Mariner grabs her storm necklace and closes her eyes.
MARINER O.S.
I can see through raindrops.
We see outside of the train.
We see through the windows of the train carts.
Mariner opens her eyes.
FREEZE FRAME - Freddie is dripping with sweat.
MARINER V.O
Whenever they messed with my dad...
UNFREEZE
Mariner used her eyes to look up and could sense someone above the train cart.
Right above her a young woman was standing over her looking down.
Mariner stood up.
She could see the woman now through the rain outside.
MARINER
(whispers to Freddie)
She’s weak.
FREDDIE
I feel faint.
Freddie starts to gasp for air.
The entire train inside and out was wet with water.
All of the passengers were passing out or nearly fainted.
MARINER
I’ve got this.
Mariner disappeared into the rain outside.
The woman watched and followed her.
Mariner landed on top of the train.
MARINER
I know your here!
The woman appeared behind her and Mariner struck her with a bolt of lightening from the sky.
Mariner grabbed her by the neck.
HUMID
You can’t kill me.
MARINER
I know. But this will.
Mariner pushed her off the train.
FREEZE FRAME - Humid falling off the train.
MARINER V.O
I tried not to kill anyone.
Mariner returned to Freddie.
She grabbed her sun necklace to warm and dry the air.
CUT TO:
SCENE 9
INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Mariner rushed in slamming the front door.
MARINER O.S.
The first time was hard.
Freddie looked at her.
FREDDIE
What happened! Are you alright?
Mariner stepped slowly and started to cry.
She held out her hands with blood.
Freddie stood up and hugged her.
MARINER
(crying)
I-I didn’t know what to do.
(sniffs)
My powers didn’t work. They threw me down and I just crawled. I saw the branch and just stabbed it into their neck.
FREDDIE
There, there.
Freddie pats and rubs Mariner’s back.
FREDDIE
You did what you had to.
He pushed her away grabbing her shoulders to look into her eyes.
FREDDIE
As a human, killing is wrong. For your kind, it’s just not fair they keep coming after you. I hardly doubt the law would ever believe them and if they do happen to try anything...
Freddie rubbed a tear from Mariner’s eye and poked her nose.
FREDDIE
Just give them a shock and they’ll be pissing their nickers as you used to do to me.
MARINER
(sniffling)
Are you sure?
FREDDIE
Yes. I know this Snow guy hasn’t tried to face you in over 10 years. I bet all these bozos are just trying to be him. You’re better!
Mariner takes a deep breath.
MARINER
I know.
FREDDIE
Of course you know. Now, go clean up and get some rest.
MARINER
What if they followed me.
FREDDIE
I’ll wake you. Go.
Mariner hugs Freddie.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 10
Mariner is at school.
The fire alarm sounds.
The principal tells everyone to stay calm and exit the building.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner walks into the girls bathroom.
MARINER V.O
When they started to attack innocents, I turned into them.
UNFREEZE
Mariner used the school piping to get to the attackers.
They had students captive.
She thinks...
MARINER O.S.
I only had one option...
Mariner made it rain inside the school.
The students and teachers panicked as they ran out.
She moved behind the man and woman attackers looking all around for her.
Mariner struck them with lightening.
They laughed and turned the room to ice.
Mariner appeared.
The two ice and snow beings smiled.
Mariner sent a lightening bolt from each hand above each attacker at icicles.
They laughed thinking she missed.
The icicles fell and killed them.
Mariner disappeared in the rain outside.
MARINER O.S
I started to search for them.
FADE TO BLACK.
ACT 2
SCENE 11
CONTINUOUS
Mariner kept her guard up at all times.
She was constantly using any water to spy all over London.
MARINER O.S.
I found most of them before they could get close.
Mariner caused a flood to make a group of attackers go away and never return.
MARINER O.S.
I found out lots of information.
Beat.
CUT TO:
Mariner pushed someone into a storm drain.
ATTACKER
Please! He made me do it! If you help me out.
Mariner stopped making it rain, slowly drowning the woman.
The woman was hit with an ice shard in the neck and died.
CUT TO:
Beat.
Mariner held a knife to the neck of an old man.
OLD MAN
I’ve lived my life. I can’t live forever like you or him. Go ahead and kill me! He would’ve if I was anything like you!
Mariner threw a punch and walked away.
Beat.
CUT TO:
A teenage boy was following her.
He trapped her in an alley.
The sun began beaming hot.
Mariner pulled out her necklace of the Sun symbol.
BOY
My father’s necklace!
MARINER
And what would he say about this?
BOY
I’ve never met him. Snow took me as a child to tell me about it. Sorry!
The boy ran off.
Beat.
CUT TO:
SCENE 12
INT. LIVING ROOM - MORNING
Mariner sat staring out the window.
MARINER O.S.
I didn’t know what to do as an adult.
Freddie walks in with coffee.
FREDDIE
Another late night, like Batman?
Beat.
MARINER
It’s been a month. Nobody. Do you think I-
Beat.
FREDDIE
Go them all? No. Remember what I told you, there is Sunny and there is Snow. There not all bad. Only the bad ones do bad things.
MARINER
Am I bad?
FREDDIE
No. No. Your protecting yourself.
Beat.
MARINER
I’ve killed hundreds. What if the other’s like me have all been killed by Snow? What if Snow is next?
FREDDIE
I-...
(sad)
I really don’t have an answer for that.
Beat.
They sit in silence.
FREDDIE
Well! I suppose Sunny or that Swift woman will appear to help. You said they’ve told you, you didn’t need them.
MARINER
But I want them. I want to know them so bad! I want to know about our kind or how we got like this. And... my mom?
Beat.
FREDDIE
That’s a part of growing up. I think without your powers we would be having the same conversation.
Beat.
MARINER
Hmm... maybe your right.
Freddie drinks his coffee.
Mariner looks outside making it rain.
MARINER O.S
Years went by. It made me crazy not knowing where my kind were. Did I kill them all? Make them fear me?
DISSOLVE TO:
Mariner ages into her adult hood.
Mariner watches it rain.
SCENE 13
INT. LIVING ROOM - MIDNIGHT
Present day
BACK TO:
The rain has turned to snow.
The window breaks.
Ice starts to cover all surfaces.
The room becomes bitter cold.
Snow appears from the snow.
SNOW
Storm1!
Freddie hits the ground.
Mariner is shooting lightening from her hands at Snow.
SNOW
I’ve been waiting for this day!
Snow stands with a big grin.
Snow approaches Mariner.
Mariner covers her head in her arms.
Snow creates a large ice spear to try and stab Mariner.
Mariner looks him in the eyes.

Freddie slams his fist down on a floor switch for lamps.
Mariner smiles as she grabs the spear before it hits her.
She radiates with electricity.
What looked like a decoration on the wall in the entry was a large metal sheet fitted with multiple heat and grow bulbs.
They turn on bright and hot!
SNOW
What the-
MARINER
Go away Snow!
The spear and snow start to melt.
Mariner snaps the ice.
Snow lunges back.
SNOW
Clever.
MARINER
Leave me alone!
Snow takes a step and looks at his hand starting to melt.
SNOW
No! Its too hot!
MARINER
Leave! Now!
SNOW
Oh, I’ll leave. But I will get you.
MARINER
Give up.
SNOW
Never!
Snow turns himself into snow and exits out the broken window.
MARINER
Dad!
Mariner helped Freddie sit up.
FREDDIE
I told you it would work.
He cleans his glasses.
FREDDIE
Don’t worry. Too much to drink. I’ll get up when the room stops spinning.
Mariner smiles and looks out the window.
MARINER
What do we do now? We weakened him. But he’ll come back. I hadn’t used my powers in a while.
Mariner looks over her hands turning them up and down.
MARINER
I felt something different.
FREDDIE
Hold on.
Freddie stands up with help of the couch.
SCENE 14
INT. LIVING ROOM - MIDNIGHT
Freddie grabs a journal from the drawer of the coffee table.
He sits and flips through the pages.
FREDDIE
Here we go. Entry 29.
Freddie taps the page.
FREDDIE
When you were 17, you said you couldn’t kill another storm element. Thought it was your brother. Both of you were matched. So, you talked to him about family.
MARINER
Are we family. I remember.
FREDDIE
And you said he told you he thought you killed his mum.
Mariner sits down.
MARINER
And I remembered trying to save a storm woman when Snow showed up. He got into my head saying he had her son.
FREDDIE
That’s when you spent 3 months sitting here at home scared. I noted, you saying you felt bad you may have been killing your own family.
MARINER
You told me we were family.
FREDDIE
Yes, and...
Freddie licks his fingers to turn some pages.
FREDDIE
1 year later, Snow showed up when battling a group of people for you to tell me later you felt different power from him than the other snow-like beings and grabbed your necklace.
MARINER
And Snow was angry when half of them looked at me. They fled and I left. Snow was angry.
FREDDIE
We also decided that that snow group was not Snow’s family because he was trying to kill them. You protected them.
Mariner looks at her necklaces.
FREDDIE
Yep. So maybe its the necklaces and you have 2 and we assume Snow has one.
MARINER
They always seem like they could snap together, but don’t. Maybe if I had another one...
Mariner is trying to snap the necklaces together and they wont fit.
Freddie closes the journal and puts it away.
Freddie turns off the lights with his foot on the switch.
Freddie looks at the bulbs on the wall.
FREDDIE
I know we can’t leave this running. I’m sure next time Snow will have a plan. Or wait till you go out.
MARINER
Yes... Out...
Mariner stands up fast.
MARINER
I have to go out right now!
FREDDIE
I suppose...
MARINER
Snow’s weak. This may be my only chance. I have an idea.
Mariner runs and puts her shoes on.
FREDDIE
If you must. I’ll be here.
MARINER
I need to talk to Swift. Maybe she can tell me about the necklaces. I don’t think Sunny will. Why would he give me his?
FREDDIE
Mmm... I don’t know.
Mariner hugs Freddie and opens the front door.
She looks back.
MARINER
I should help you clean up.
FREDDIE
No, no, no. Go be super! I need something to keep me busy.
MARINER
Thanks!
Mariner hurries out the door and closes it.
FREDDIE
I’ve done my part in raising you. Nothing more I can do, but support.
Freddie looks around at the glass all over.

ACT 3
SCENE 15
EXT. BEACH - SUNRISE
Mariner is walking the beach.
It is windy.
She has a storm brewing over the ocean.
MARINER
Come on. Please. You showed up once before when I did this. Please.
Mariner looks out over the ocean.
The sun begins to break over the water.
Mariner stops and looks down the beach behind her.
She looks down in front of her.
Disappointed, Mariner sits on the sand.
MARINER
Even if she did show up, what do I say? Give me your necklace, I want to put it with these?
Mariner pulls out her necklaces from her shirt.
MARINER
Oh, tell me all about them! Why did Sunny give me his?
MARINER
No. Tell me about my mom. Is she alive or dead?
MARINER
How about the others? I’ve killed them, don’t kill me if they were yours?
(sighs)
No.
Mariner puts her head down on her knees.
The harsh beach wind stops.
The air is still.
The sun beams and shines on Mariner’s face.
MARINER
I don’t think I could kill snow. He’s why I’m how I am. Many fear me and some worship me. I’ve killed many.
A gentle breeze calms her.
MARINER
Swift... Sunny... I know your watching me right now. I can feel you guys.
She takes both necklaces and lays them down on the sand.
MARINER
My dad thinks the necklaces are what will stop Snow.
The breeze picks up and sand uncovers a third necklace with the wind symbol.
Mariner picks it up looking at it and across the ocean at the sun rising.
She picks up the sun necklace and snaps the two together.
Her storm necklace shimmers for a moment.
She picks up the necklace and it will not snap to the other 2.
Holding both in her hands, she stands up.
MARINER
I guess I have to try and get Snow’s.
The breeze pushes her and the sun shines brightly.
MARINER
Someone once said Snow lived at the ice caps.
She makes it start raining over the ocean and uses it to take her across the world.
SCENE 16
INT. SNOW’S ICE CAVERN - EVENING
Mariner senses Snow and many others within the cavern entirely of ice.
She walks in slowly.
SNOW
(echoes)
Storm1! Is that you!
Mariner flinches.
SNOW
I didn’t think you would be so bold to come here. Ready to give me your powers?
Beings emerge out of the ice and start to follow her.
They murmur different things.
Mariner continues to walk till she enters a large open area with Snow sitting on a throne made of ice.
SCENE 17
INT. ICE CAVERN - NIGHT
The exit is blocked by many of his followers and slaves.
SNOW
Wha’d you think? I was weak and you could take me? Ha! My powers are strongest here!
MARINER
I had to. I know you’ll never stop and I can’t kill you.
SNOW
Oh?
MARINER
I don’t think you can kill me either.
Snow bites his lip making a face.
SNOW
Don’t be so sure.
MARINER
I don’t think you can. I was a scared little girl back then. I’m all grown up now. I know you sent many to kill me and I killed them. I think our powers are even.
Snow turns to snow and appears face-to-face with Mariner.
SNOW
What are you saying?
MARINER
I don’t really know.
SNOW
Fine!
Snow grabs Mariner’s neck.
SNOW
Let’s see if your right!
Snow begins to freeze Mariner.
A breeze cycles making snow swirl around them.
SNOW
I’ve hated this planet my whole life! I wanted to go back to where we came from.
MARINER
I’ve wanted to go somewhere with our kind too. Why can’t we work together?
SNOW
Because!
Snow starts to squeeze her neck.
The ice covers her feet and melts from her knees down.
SNOW
I want to be the only one!
MARINER
(raspy)
There will always be us. You can’t kill me. I’m too strong.
SNOW
Then take my powers!
Mariner grabs his forearms gently.
Snow loosens his grip and starts to make snow pile around them up to their waists.
MARINER
We’ll see what happens.
Mariner reaches for his necklace and her necklace at the same time and snaps them together.
Both of them start glowing.
They both start to freeze.
Snow looks down confused.
SNOW
What?
Mariner snaps the other necklaces and all 4 are now one.
MARINER
Now we are one.
A bright light emits.
SCENE 18
UNDEFINED
The area is all white.
Snow looks up to see Sunny, Swift, and Storm.
SUNNY
We all gave her our powers. If you give up yours, we can all go home.
SNOW
No! How!
Snow touches himself all over.
SNOW
When we did this back then?
SWIFT
We were too young. Our mother wants us back. So we can form new worlds with her weather glory.
SNOW
I-
STORM
I wanted to tell you all. I met her when I gave Storm1 my powers. We had to learn to give them to others.
SNOW
Gosh...
(teary)
All I’ve ever wanted, was to go back where we came from.
STORM
Now we can.
Storm holds out her hand.
Sunny holds out his hand.
Snow reaches out both hands and takes theirs.
Swift takes Storm’s other hand.
Bright light fill the screen.
SCENE 19
INT. ICE CAVERN - NIGHT
Mariner opens her eyes.
Snow fades away.
SNOW
I’m sorry.
He smiles.
SNOW
I’m guna go home. Thanks to you.
Mariner smiles.
Mariner hugs the fading Snow.
MARINER
One day I’ll join. I wanted others of my kind too.
Mariner steps back and looks at the others watching.
MARINER
We can live together.
Snow disappears.

Mariner is having a picnic with Freddie and many like her who can control the weather.

Everyone is having a good time.
MARINER O.S.
What I do know is so many feared Snow killing them and did his bidding. We all just wanted to know others like ourselves and not feel alone.
Mariner stands up and walks around smiling and hugging others.
MARINER O.S.
I will protect them all.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner shoots lightening at someone who lands from a sun beam trying to fry them all.
MARINER V.O.

Exact words of my teacher with this version...
This script is challenging -- it starts out very complicated with a hard to understand backstory. It then gets more conventional and by the third act it is a pure good vs. evil super hero confrontation.
The dialogue is similar. In the third act, most of it is straightforward and realistic, in the first act and a lot of the second act it feels "speechy" and rigid.
I think if you made the backstory simpler and had your characters speaking like people rather than demigods, the story will start to come together.
ACT 1
SCENE 1
INT. CAFETERIA - NIGHT
We hear music playing loudly as we enter through doors into a large cafeteria decorated for winter.
Many college aged students are partying.
MARINER O.S.
That’s me right there.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner, a young woman, walks into the room looking around.
MARINER O.S.
I didn’t want to be there. I knew something bad was going to happen.
UNFREEZE
FOG
Come on Mare! Come join us!
MARINER O.S.
Those are my friends. We just met a week ago.
FREEZE FRAME - Fog, Humid, Aero. 3 young women.
UNFREEZE - Mariner walks to her friends.
MARINER
I’m not sure if I want to be here.
HUMID
Which is exactly why you should be here.
AERO
Hey... We all sense it. As long as we stick together, we’ll be fine.
FOG
Noooo. We’ll have fun! Come on and Dance!
Fog starts to funky-monkey dance.
MARINER O.S.
We are all students at an academy that secretly practices having powers that control the weather.
The girls are having fun.
MARINER O.S.
My name’s Mariner. Also known as...
The windows all break simultaneously.
People scream.
The music stops.
Snowflakes fall.
Ice starts to cover all surfaces.
The room becomes bitter cold.
Snow forms from snow as his human form.

FREEZE FRAME - Mariner stands still making eye contact with Snow.

The bad thing I knew was going to happen.

FREEZE FRAME - Snow stands with a big grin and hands in the air over excited.

Snow approaches Mariner.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner covers her head in her arms.

He wants to freeze the entire planet. Says he can use the ocean to reach space.
UNFREEZE - Snow creates a large ice spear to try and stab Mariner.
FREEZE FRAME- Mariner looks him in the eyes.

This looks better than the first time.

SCENE 2
EXT. THE MOUNTAINS - DAYTIME
Mariner is 5 years old.
Freddie and Mary set up a picnic.
Jude is listening to music with headphones.
FREEZE FRAME - Young Mariner takes off running.
MARINER O.S.
That’s me again. 5 years old. I don’t know if I should of stayed at the table or if this still would have happened anyways.
YOUNG MARINER
Let’s play hide and seek!
FREDDIE
Mariner! Come back here! We can play later.
FREEZE FRAME - Freddie drops paper plates and walks off after Mariner.
MARINER O.S.
That’s my dad. Not my real dad, but this is my family. My mother abandoned me with them.
UNFREEZE
YOUNG MARINER
But I want to play now!
FREDDIE
We have been all morning! Come on! It’s time for midday meal.
Mariner runs and hides in the woods. Freddie tries to catch up with her.
YOUNG MARINER
I’m not hungry! I want to make it rain!

I know we agreed on that, but eating is important.
Young Mariner stops and looks up into the sky.
It starts to rain.
FREEZE FRAME - Young Mariner smiles.

Freddie takes his glasses off and puts them in his shirt pocket.
As he wiped his forehead of raindrops snow began to fall.
FREDDIE
Snow? Mariner.
Young Mariner screams.
FREDDIE

Freddie is frantic and finds her.
YOUNG MARINER
Let me go! Daddy!
FREEZE FRAME - Snow was holding Mariner by her shoulders off the ground with her legs kicking.
MARINER O.S.
Frozen with fear was too literal.
UNFREEZE
FREDDIE
Look now. You let her go and take me instead.
SNOW
I don’t think so.
FREDDIE
Please! Stop!
Freddie falls to his knees covering his mouth crying.
Snow sends a blizzard of snow towards Freddie knocking him over.
SNOW
I’ve been looking for you a long time. Storm1.
FREEZE FRAME - Snow is face to face with young Mariner.
MARINER O.S.
I am called Storm1 being the first storm born from my mother. They weren’t very creative.
UNFREEZE
YOUNG MARINER
Let me go!
(gasps for air)
Young Mariner uses her powers to saturate Snow and slip out of his grasp.
SNOW
Just like your mother. Come here you little brat!
Snow sends snow from his hands to cover Mariner in ice.
Mariner hugs herself to make herself wet with a rain cloud hovering over her downpouring.
SNOW
Nice try!
Snow turned himself into snow and vanished.
Young Mariner takes a step.
Snow reappears kneeling to grab young Mariner by the throat with both hands.
SNOW
Time to die! Storm1.
Snow chokes Mariner with both his hands and starts to freeze her body.
Young Mariner makes it rain more.
SNOW
Thanks for helping me.
Snow is turning her rain into ice.
Mariner stops using her powers and is frozen in ice from her neck down to her feet.
SNOW
Once I have a pure descendant from each of us, I will take hold of this pathetic planet full of humans and freeze it with ice and snow.
SUNNY
Snow!
The clouds part in the sky and a beam of light shines right behind Snow.
FREEZE FRAME - Sunny appears warming everything and causing steam.
MARINER O.S.
That’s Sunny! My hero! I went my whole life wanting to meet him again. I also just wanted to know more about me. Us. Even Snow and my mom.
UNFREEZE - Snow began to melt and back off cautiously.
SNOW
Fine. Have it your way Sunny!
Snow walks backwards.
Sunny walks toward him.
SUNNY
Your sick Snow! I will never forgive you for what you have been doing!
SNOW
Then kill me!
Snow turns into snow and disappears laughing manically.
Freddie stands and runs to young Mariner.
SNOW O.S.
I will prevail! You will all die!
Sunny shouts into the sky.
SUNNY
Just run away and cower!
FREDDIE
Oh for the love of God. Please! No. It’s all my fault.
YOUNG MARINER
I’m sorry. I will never run off again. I will never play again. I want to go eat Midday meal.
Freddie looks at Sunny.
FREDDIE
Please. Help her.
SUNNY
(Smiles)
Never play again. Now that’s harsh.
Sunny kneels and hugs Mariner.
All the clouds disappears and the sky shines very blue with the sun glistening down on young Mariner.
The ice melts and Mariner dries.
YOUNG MARINER
Thank you!
Young Mariner looks up at Sunny.
MARINER
You’re like me!
Sunny smiles and places his hands on young Mariner’s shoulders looking her in the eyes.
SUNNY
Yes and no. Special and not human. But, I am Sunny.
YOUNG MARINER
And I am Stormy! Or... he called me Storm1.
SUNNY
Yes. I promised your mother, Storm, I would watch over you. I have been. But as your grow up, your powers will grow. You need to practice them and protect the ones you love.
Sunny looks at Freddie.
Freddie hugs and pick up young Mariner.
FREDDIE
Oh thank the lord! And thank you Mr... Sunny was it.
Freddie held his hand out for a shake.
Sunny shakes it.
SUNNY
No problem. It will take a while for Snow to built up his powers again. I want you to take this.
Sunny removes the necklace with a sun on it and places it over Mariner.
SUNNY
This will keep you warm. If you are scared or run into him again, just grab it and the sun will come out.
Young Mariner looks at it and pulls her necklace out with a cloud and lightening bolt.
YOUNG MARINER
It’s just like mine.
SUNNY
Yes. It’s very special to me. So take care of it.
Sunny looks at Freddie.
SUNNY
And you keep taking care of her. Pretty soon, she will have more power than you could imagine. Places like this are great for practice. I commend you for allowing her to.
Freddie nods his head and sets Mariner down.
FREDDIE
Of course. Thank you so much!
SUNNY
Yep. Now, I gotta’ go after Snow. He isn’t getting away from me that easily. Bye!
A beam of sunlight blinds Freddie.
FREEZE FRAME - Young Mariner is able to see within it and watches Sunny fly off into the sky.

INT/EXT. MARINER’S HOME - CONTINUOUS
Freddie walked outside to open an umbrella just in time to not be drenched in water.
Mariner is giggling.
FREEZE FRAME - Freddie held his hand out catching rain.

He got good at not getting wet. But when I was a teenager...
UNFREEZE - Teen Mariner is being scolded for a bad test grade.
Mariner makes and angry pouting face.
Cloud begin to appear.
Rain starts to fall inside.
FREDDIE
Don’t you even dare! Did he ever say harm?
Teen Mariner stops her storm as lightening was about to strike.
Teen Mariner is upset and runs to her room.
FREEZE FRAME - Teen Mariner slams the door.
MARINER O.S.
I was more troubled than other teens.
UNFREEZE - Freddie and Mary side hug and sigh.
MARINER O.S.
I love my parents and all they did for me.
Freddie looks outside to see it raining.

SCENE 4
INT. TRAIN - NOON
Present day.
MARINER O.S.
After I graduated school I would wonder all over.
Mariner is on the train looking out the window making the rain go in the direction she moves her finger.
MARINER O.S.
I wanted to know who I really was. What I was? Why my mother abandoned me? When I would meet Sunny again? Why did Snow want to kill me to freeze the world? Couldn’t he do that by himself? I feel like I make it rain anywhere I’ve been and if I traveled the world?
The train is nearing a stop and she stops the rain.
Mariner grabs her storm necklace and closes her eyes.
MARINER O.S.
I can see through raindrops. I hold my necklace to be less conspicuous.
We see outside of the train.
Mariner is happy making the passengers happy by stopping the rain as they get on and off.
Mariner notices some girls her age who smile and hold hands.
The platform becomes covered in thick fog.
Mariner lets go of the necklace to move to the other side of the train and look out the window.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner can see Fog being fog.
MARINER O.S.
I could see the girl as fog. Just like I could see Sunny in the sun.
UNFREEZE - The train starts to move. Mariner watches Fog in the fog get on the train steps as fog.
Mariner stands looking out the window between the carts at Fog made of fog.
FREEZE FRAME - Fog looks at Mariner right in the eyes waiting.
MARINER O.S.
I wanted to know if she was like me. Could she see me if I was rain?
UNFREEZE - Mariner looks away and turns her back closing her eyes grabbing her necklace to make it rain.
Fog stops being fog and turns into a human.
The fog fades away outside.
Fog enters the train cart to sit with her friends.
Mariner sits on the floor between chairs and turns herself into rain to be right outside the girls’ window.
The girls began to talk.
MARINER O.S.
They couldn’t see me.
FOG
I think I’m really getting the hang of it. More practice and I should be able to move through walls.
HUMID
No way. If you can, then I can do the whole train.
FREEZE FRAME - Humid places her hand on the window. The entire train cart gets humid and the windows fill with condensation.
MARINER O.S.
They are like me! I was ecstatic!
UNFREEZE - Aero elbows humid.
AERO
Stop it. I was having a good hair day. Want to see if I can get this rain to the next cart?
FOG
No fair. Yours can do that.
HUMID
Yeah, but that’s about all she can do it make it windy. Nothing dangerous about that.
AERO
No. But, maybe one day I will make a tornado happen.
Mariner watches Aero use wind to make all the water droplets on the windows move sideways along the train.
Mariner uses her powers to make it rain hard directly toward the train from both sides for the entire train. The humidity turns cold and the fog disperses around the train.
FREEZE FRAME - The girls flinched
MARINER O.S.
I didn’t mean to scare them.
UNFREEZE
FOG
What happened?
AERO
I don’t know. I felt like I was pushed.
HUMID
It’s cold in here.
FOG
It’s not us. I don’t know who it is.
HUMID
Someone else?
Mariner returns to sitting on the floor in human form.
She grabs her sun necklace and the sun comes out gently stopping all the weather.
The girls get off the train.
MARINER O.S.
When they got off the train, I followed them.
Mariner follows the girls as rain in the rain.

SCENE 5
EXT. ACADEMY FRONT DOORS - PAST NOON
Mariner walks up to a college door.
MARINER O.S.
That’s when I got my wish of finding others like me!
The doors open.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner smiles.

I found a whole school of others like me! I found answers and a purpose I had always waited for!
UNFREEZE - Mariner steps into the school.

SCENE 6
Mariner begins to train at the Academy.
Mariner is making a large storm in the room with it raining in different parts.
The dean walks in.
FREEZE FRAME - Dean Aquatic smiles staring at Mariner

That’s Dead Aquatic. She runs the Academy. I’d been wanting to meet her. I didn’t think it would be so soon.
UNFREEZE
DEAN AQUATIC
Marvelous! Simply stunning! Watch.
Dean Aquatic starts to move the storm around.
Mariner retaliates and keeps it center.
The dean starts to absorb the rain falling.
Mariner stops the rain.
The dean drops all the water over Mariner.
Mariner had shifted into a lightening bolt and zoomed into the storm cloud.
DEAN AQUATIC
Amazing!
Mariner clashes thunder and strikes as a lightening bolt dispersing the storm and standing as human.
DEAN AQUATIC
(clapping)
Now that’s someone worthy for me to train! Meet me here tomorrow. Same time, same place! Ta-Ta!
The dean exits the room.
Mariner is being praised by other students.
SCENE 7
INT. DORMITORY - NIGHT
Mariner hangs out with Fog, Humid, and Aero in their pajamas in the dormitory.

Wow! That was so cool today what you did! Professor Shineson was all like, I’m guna’ make you thirsty. And you were all like, I will drown you. And she like made it a hundred something in the room and you had no problem bringing in this storm and making it lightening and flood. Like Ph-my-god! I can’t believe you can control your powers that much!
FOG
Oh I know! You really did see me on the train. I’ve never heard of non-pure being able to do that.
MARINER
A non-pure?
FOG
Yes. *gasp* you mean you don’t know?
HUMID
Of course she doesn’t. You don’t listen to anyone. She never met anyone like us before, who’s to be the one to tell her?
MARINER
Tell me what?
FOG

MARINER
Four Core... Like... Snow, Ice, Rain, and Wind.
FREEZE FRAME - Shot of Mariner.

I pretended to not know anything about Sunny, Storm, and Snow. I never spoke of anything about them to anyone.

Close. They were called, Sunny, Storm, Snow, and Swift.
AERO
That’s why we all use names related to our powers. I don’t like to be called Cassy.
MARINER
And those 4?
HUMID
Just the legends. How they were left on Earth and fought till they went their own ways. I guess one of them kills others for more power. One reason the dean started this academy.
FOG
You see we are bread from one of them and after hundreds of years our powers are weak. We still live like humans and the original have lived longer than humans.
MARINER
What about the dean?
AERO
Rumor has it, she is a granddaughter of one of the originals. Nobody knows who. I think my great, great, great something had powers. My great aunt told me about it on her death bed.
MARINER
And how does this relate to me?
HUMID
It means you have to be a direct descendant from one of them! Your powers are so strong!
MARINER
What am I supposed to do?
FOG

INT. TRAINING ROOM - MORNING
Mariner trains with the dean.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner watches the Dean watching her make a storm cloud.
MARINER V.O.
The dean took an interest in me. It ws kinda creepy. I felt like running away and hiding.
UNFREEZE

Is it true?
DEAN AQUATIC
The rumors around school? That you’re the daughter of an original and the world may be coming to its end how we know it?
MARINER
Yeah...
DEAN AQUATIC
I wish I could answer that. I honestly have no idea what’s going to happen. All I know is you have great powers and I must learn them to help in the end.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner is nervous.
MARINER V.O.

INT. THE DEAN’S OFFICE - LATE MORNING
Mariner leaves her training.
The dean gets a phone call and runs to her office.
Mariner looked out the window to shift into rain and be outside the dean’s office.

No, no, no. Not yet. I know I can get more out of her. My powers are increasing each time I watch her.
The dean paces.
DEAN AQUATIC

The dean stops.
DEAN AQUATIC
Alright. As you wish... I have matters to attend to. Bye.
The dean exist her office.
Mariner shifts herself into human form within the office.
She looks around to find a notebook in the drawer of a desk.

Fog, Humid, and Aero catch up to Mariner.

FOG
Don’t say anything.
HUMID
That’s what friends do.
AERO
I think we should go find Gusty.
Mariner lets her friends lead the way.
SCENE 12
INT. GUSTY’S HOME - MIDNIGHT
Mariner senses Gusty as they walk the street.
MARINER
Um... hello?
GUSTY O.S
Who are you? And what do you want?
MARINER
Please. I have questions.
GUSTY O.S
You’re strong.
A gust of wind opens the doors to Gusty’s home.
Wind pushes the girls inside to the living room.
Gusty sits.
GUSTY
I am Gusty44.
MARINER
I am Storm1.
GUSTY
Storm1!
Gusty stands and paces.
GUSTY
You can’t be here. I’m sorry.
MARINER
It’s snow! Look.
Mariner shows the 3 necklaces.
GUSTY
Ooo-oo-uh.
MARINER
You know what these are?
GUSTY
Yes! How did- no. I don’t want to know. Wait here.
Gusty turned to a gust of wind and left.

INT. GUSTY’S HOME - MORNING
Everyone had fallen asleep.
Mariner woke up the next morning to go outside and make it rain.
Gusty appeared.
GUSTY
Here.
Mariner takes the 4th necklace of a wind symbol.
GUSTY
Swift wanted to give it to you personally.
A loud crash comes from inside.
GUSTY

ACT 3
SCENE 14
EXT. HIGHGATE WOODS - BEFORE NOON
Mariner sits in the woods outside of northeast London.
MARINER V.O
I’m such a coward. I just ran away.
She is making it storm and rain, with it not touching her.
She looks at the 4 necklaces hesitant to put them together.
Sunny appears behind her.
SUNNY
Why haven’t you put them together?
Mariner stands up fast turning around.
MARINER
Sunny!
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner hugs Sunny.
MARINER V.O
I’ve wanted to do that since I was a kid.
UNFREEZE
MARINER
I’ve waited to meet you again ever since that day...
Mariner steps back looking to the side.
The spot where he saved her from Snow.
SUNNY
And here you are. Ready to protect yourself. And what else did I tell you?
FREEZE FRAME - Sunny looking at Mariner
MARINER V.O
How could I forget?
UNFREEZE
MARINER
(takes a deep breath)
The ones I love.
SUNNY
I get it. You’re scared. But we have to stop Snow. Aaaand right now...
Sunny starts to walk away.
SUNNY
You have the power to do that.
MARINER
I’m not a killer.
Sunny turned around.
SUNNY
I didn’t say kill.
The rain stops with the sun beaming through the clouds.
MARINER
I saw a journal. With rituals. I don’t see myself taking power.
SUNNY
I never said power.
MARINER
Just tell me!
SUNNY
All I’ll tell you, is Snow must be stopped. Nobody has to die.
Mariner looks at the necklaces in her hand.
MARINER
I always thought one day I would find you would take me away to another world full of our kind.
SUNNY
(he chuckles)
Snow wishes for the same thing. Eventually it led him to evil. Are you evil?
MARINER
(scoffs)
No way. I-I just...
SUNNY
You just have to do what I say. You practiced your powers and wow they are phenomenal! But what else did I say?
MARINER
Protect the ones I love.
SUNNY
Yeah... and....
(sad)
Snow has them. All of them.
MARINER
What!
SUNNY
Your friends believe in you.
MARINER
You’re right. I ran away instead of protecting them. I was scared of Snow.
Sunny rushed to Mariner and grabbed her shoulders to shake her slightly.
SUNNY
And now you are stronger!
He stares into her eyes.
SUNNY
With all the necklaces, you are the strongest of all of us.
MARINER
So... with the necklaces...
SUNNY
That’s left up to you.
MARINER
Alright. I think I get it. But first! I must protect everyone.
SUNNY
Atta’ girl. Let’s go.
Sunny takes Mariner’s hand and the two disappear into a cloudy sunny sky.
SCENE 15
INT. THE ACADEMY - AFTERNOON
Mariner stares at the academy.
Sunny stops her from going in.
SUNNY
Before you go in, I think you should turn around.
Mariner turns around to see a woman clenching her face holding back tears.
SUNNY
Storm. Meet Storm1. Also know as Mariner.
MARINER
M-mu-mom?
STORM
Yes, baby.
MARINER
Mom!
Mariner runs into her mother’s arms.
STORM
I’m sorry.
MARINER
I don’t care.
STORM
I know. I tried and tried to come back. But Snow always knows where I’m at. It was too dangerous. You were my first and only Storm child. And the only one he has never killed. Some sort of ritual he thinks will make him control us all.
MARINER
(crying)
Mom.
Mariner steps back wiping her face.
Storm wipes her face.
STORM
I hate to put this pressure on you, but you have to stop Snow. He won’t stop killing. I know he has everyone held up in there to get to you.
MARINER
What do I do?
STORM
What you want to. Sunny, Swift, and I will take our places when you get Snow. Think of it like a compass, we just need to be on point and you in the center. The rest will just fall into place.
MARINER
(sobbing)
I don’t want all the power.
STORM
Then take my place. I will take it all. So Snow may have none.
MARINER
I’m not sure anymore.
STORM
Stay strong. If not, Snow is going to kill you. We have no other option.
SUNNY
Not unless Snow’s desire is to be human or any sort of wish that isn’t evil.
MARINER
What do you mean?
SUNNY
(aggravated)
He will never change. He’s set on power and control and that’s the only thing his necklace will respond to. Maybe if we had his first born snow child and ours, with you, we could transfer powers to a new line. But no he killed them all. And everyone in there is too weak and would die.
Sunny sighs.
SUNNY
I’m sorry. Either you or Storm has to take all the power.
STORM
Just be calm and we will do the rest. Focus on the life you want.
MARINER
I’ll try...
Mariner and Storm hug.
SCENE 16
INT. THE ACADEMY - AFTERNOON
Mariner enters the Academy.
Ice and snow is covering everything.
Mariner walks slowly to the cafeteria.
She enters.
Snow is clapping.
SNOW
Bravo! Ecstatic! What a courageous one we have here! Right?
Snow gestures and his followers laugh.
SNOW
I thought about siphoning everyone's powers, but why miss the fun to let you watch?
MARINER
Let them all go!
SNOW
Or what? You’ll top me. Psshh. Puh-lease.
Snow stands from his throne made of ice.
Snow walks toward Mariner standing in the center of the room.
SNOW
(monologuing)
Oh? You think I don’t know? You have my necklace and are going to drain my powers with it? I don’t think so little girl. You did me a favor. That thing kept me suppressed. I longed for the meaning of it and to find who placed it around my neck before
(screams)
Abandoning me

On this planet.
Mariner holds the chains in her hand out to the side with the necklaces all snapped together.
SNOW
Oh... You’re serious. I guess they’re
(screams)
LINGERING AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE! Huh! Why don’t you all come out!
Snow runs around Mariner in a circle.
SNOW
Sunny here! Storm here. Swift here. And oh stupid me right here. Come on let’s do it!
Snow stops and scurrys back facing Mariner.
SNOW
I don’t think so!
(laughs)
Once failed will always fail.
(stern)
I’m too strong.
Sunny, Storm, and Swift walk in to stand right with Mariner.
SNOW
Blech... reunions.
SUNNY
Just give up Snow.
SNOW
You give up! That ritual will not work unless I surrender my powers and I’m not guna’ do that. Nope. No way. No how. Check please! Bring out the hook!
SWIFT
Then we surrender it all to Storm1.
Swift places her hand on Mariner’s shoulder and she glows.
Storm places her hand on Mariner’s back and glows.
STORM
I’m sick of running. I don’t want power any more.
SUNNY
I don’t get why we have to fight.
Sunny places his hand on Mariner’s other shoulder and he glows.
SUNNY
I at least did it, just to see you.
SNOW
Oh boo who. You all make me sick. Always have. Fine! You want to give your powers to this stupid girl? Be my guest. I will just siphon all of your powers at once. She won’t know how to use them anyways.
SUNNY
Say it to my face.
SNOW
What?
SUNNY
Say you will not miss us. To my face.
Snow is angry.
Snow rushes to Sunny pointing his finger in his face.
SNOW
I will miss you the least!
Sunny and Swift grab Snow.
SNOW
It’s not going to work. I’ll humor you.
Mariner hugs Snow.
Snow raises his arms in the air.
SNOW
Come on give it a try.
Storm moves behind him and wraps her arms around him.

I had a vision in my head. And thinking about some of the things Sunny said.

Mariner looks up at Snow.

Mariner smiles.
MARINER
I can hear the necklaces speaking.
Snow starts to glow.
SNOW
What are you doing!
(scared)
How?
Mariner squeezes the necklace between her palms and digs her head into Snow’s chest.
MARINER
I have to protect the ones I love.
SNOW
Love, shmove. Let me go!
Snow starts to melt.
MARINER
I will not kill you. But I can make everything even.
Mariner starts to glow.
The fore core all fall to the ground as humans.
MARINER
You always wanted to go to where you came from. I wanted to go there too.
SUNNY
Common desire.
SNOW
Nooooo!
SUNNY
She did it!
SWIFT
Our desire to stop snow with her desire to find us, like Snow’s desire.
MARINER
And now I have all of your powers.
SNOW
(struggles to stand)
No. No. Not. No. I’m going to-
Snow fell over out of strength.
MARINER
I want to find everyone like us. Then share it.
FREEZE FRAME - Mariner turns into a flash of bolting lightening and exits the room.

ACT 1
SCENE 1
EXT. EARTH 4.54 BILLON YEARS AGO - MIDDAY
Here we see a beam of light enter Earth’s atmosphere shortly after Earth began 4.54 billion years ago.
SCENE 2
EXT. EARTH 4.54 BILLON YEARS AGO - MIDDAY
A flash of white light. Sunny is left on Earth as a young boy.

SUNNY
W-what?
Another flash of light blinds him. Storm is laying on the ground. Sunny wakes her up.
SUNNY
Hi! My name’s Sunny.
STORM
Oh... I’m Storm? I think?
Storm sits up looking around.
SUNNY
Do you know how we got here?
STORM
No. Is this Earth?
A bright light blinds both of them. They see Snow laying on the ground to lean over him.
SNOW
(mumbles)
I want to stay.
SUNNY
Hello! I’m Sunny and this is Storm.
Snow sits up fast looking around. He screams.
STORM
What’s wrong?
SNOW
No! Take me back! Don’t leave me here!
Another bright light appears. Swift is standing to open her eyes looking at the others.
SWIFT
I made it.
SUNNY
We all made it!
SNOW
Abandoned.
Snow starts to walk off. The others follow him.

EXT. EARTH 4.54 BILLON YEARS AGO - DAYTIME
We see the children using their powers playfully.

EXT. EARTH
As they aged, they became violent and attacked one another relentlessly. They all wanted to cover the Earth in their own powers.

EXT. EARTH
After millions of years, they divided parts of the world with times of the year creating the seasons and went their own ways.
SCENE 6
EXT. ENGLAND 2003 - NIGHT
January 2003 in England.
Storm flees from Snow carrying a baby. She is making it rain very hard as he is trying to freeze her and take the baby.
SCENE 7
EXT. HOME FRONT DOOR - NIGHT
Storm gets away from Snow.
STORM
Shhh... It’s okay. I love you so much! I have to protect you.
She looks around to see Jude, a teenage boy, getting ready to leave their home.
Storm runs up and shoves her baby into his hands.
JUDE
Hey! What the fhhh-
STORM
I’m sorry. I’s the only way to protect her.
Storm kisses the baby and runs away as it begins to downpour more heavily.
JUDE
Wait!
Jude watched the ground start to turn to ice and Storm disappeared in the flash of a lightening bolt.
The baby starts to cry.
JUDE
Daaaaaad!
Freddie and Mary came to the doorway.
FREDDIE
Jude. What is that?
MARY
Jude!
JUDE
It’s not mine! I promise. This woman just shoved her in my arms and disappeared.
MARY
Come inside.
Freddie takes the baby from him.
FREDDIE
What a beautiful little baby!
MARY
Poor thing is drenched in water.
FREDDIE
We’ll keep her for the night and contact the authorities when the rain stops.
JUDE
What them?
FREDDIE
Well... if they can’t find her mother, then... we’ll raise her.
The power goes out.
MARY
I get the candles and some blankets.
FREDDIE
Quite the mariner storm. Just like the tellie predicted.
JUDE
She has a necklace.
Freddie pulls the necklace out to see a lightening bolt symbol over a cloud.
FREDDIE
Looks like a storm.
The baby cooed.
FREDDIE
Storm. Now that’s not a fitting name. How about we call you Mariner. Like the storm.
Freddie sits with Mary and Jude on the couch rocking Mariner in her arms and starts to whisper sing the song, “The Sun will come out tomorrow.”
SCENE 8
EXT. THE MOUNTAINS - DAYTIME
5 years later...
The family was camping. Mariner runs away to play hide and seek. Freddie chases after her.
FREDDIE
Mariner! Come back here! We can play later.
MARINER
But I want to play now!
FREDDIE
We have all morning! Come on! It’s time for midday meal.
MARINER
I’m not hungry! I want to make it rain!
FREDDIE
I know we agreed on that, but eating is important.
It starts to rain. Freddie takes his glasses off and puts them in his shirt pocket.
As he wiped his forehead of raindrops snow began to fall.
FREDDIE
Snow? Mariner.
Mariner screams.
FREDDIE
Mariner!
Freddie hurries and finds her.
MARINER
Let me go! Daddy!
FREDDIE
Look now. You let her go and take me instead.
SNOW
I don’t think so.
FREDDIE
Please! Stop!
Freddie falls to his knees covering his mouth crying.
Snow sends a blizzard of snow towards Freddie knocking him over.
SNOW
I’ve been looking for you a long time. Storm1.
MARINER
Let me go!
Mariner uses her powers to saturate Snow and slip out of his grasp.
SNOW
Just like your mother. Come here you little brat!
Snow sends snow from his hands to cover Mariner in ice.
Mariner hugs herself to make herself wet with a rain cloud hovering over her downpouring.
SNOW
Nice try!
Snow turned himself into snow and vanished. As soon as Mariner took a step Snow grabbed her by the throat.
SNOW
Time to die! Storm1.
Snow chokes Mariner with both his hands and starts to freeze her body.
Mariner makes it rain more.
SNOW
Thanks for helping me.
Snow is turning her rain into ice.
Mariner stops using her powers and is frozen in ice from her neck down to her feet.
SNOW
Once I have a pure descendant from each of us, I will take hold of this pathetic planet full of humans and freeze it ice and snow.
SUNNY
Snow!
The clouds part in the sky and a beam of light shines right behind Snow.
Sunny appears warming everything and causing steam.
Sunny wraps his arm around Snow’s neck and pulls him away from Mariner.
Freddie gets up shaking and runs to Mariner.
SNOW
Fine. Have it your way Sunny!
Snow melts himself to water and shifts into snow and moves away regaining his body.
SUNNY
Your sick Sunny! I will never forgive you for what you have been doing!
SNOW
Then kill me!
Snow turns into snow and disappears laughing manically.
SNOW O.S.
I will prevail! You will all die!
SUNNY
Just run away and cower!
FREDDIE
Oh for the love of God. Please! No. It’s all my fault.
MARINER
I’m sorry. I will never run off again. I will never play again. I want to go et Midday meal.
FREDDIE
Please. Help her.
SUNNY
(Smiles)
Never play again. Now that’s harsh.
Sunny kneels and hugs Mariner. All the clouds disappears and the sky shines very blue with the sun glistening down on Mariner.
The ice melts and she dries.
MARINER
Thank you!
She steps back.
MARINER
You’re like me!
Sunny smiles and places his hands on Mariner’s shoulders looking her in the eyes.
SUNNY
Yes and no. Special and not human. But, I am Sunny.
MARINER
And I am Stormy! Or... he called me Storm1.
SUNNY
Yes. I promised your mother, Storm, I would watch over you. I have been. But as your grow up, your powers will grow. You need to protect them and the ones you love.
Sunny looks at Freddie. He nudges his head for Freddie to come over.
Sunny Stands and watches Freddie hug and pick up Mariner.
FREDDIE
Oh thank the lord! And thank you Mr... Sunny was it.
SUNNY
No problem. It will take a while for Snow to built up his powers again. I want you to take this.
Sunny removes the necklace with a sun on it and places it over Mariner.
SUNNY
This will keep you warm. If you are scared or run into him again, just grab it and the sun will come out.
Mariner looks at it and pulls her necklace out.
MARINER
It’s just like mine.
SUNNY
Yes. It’s very special to me. So take care of it.
Sunny looks at Freddie.
SUNNY
And you keep taking care of her. Pretty soon, she will have more power than any human could imagine. Places like this are great for practice. I commend you for allowing her to. Just be careful and bring a lightening rod next time. See how that aids her.
FREDDIE
Of course. Thank you so much!
SUNNY
Yep. Now, I gotta’ go after Snow. He isn’t getting away from me that easily. Bye!
A beam of sunlight blinds Freddie.
Mariner is able to see through and watches Sunny fly off into the sky.
SCENE 9
MONTAGE
Here we see Mariner using her powers anytime it rains. Whenever angry violent storms would appear. Sometimes she would make it rain on her family for fun.
As she aged, her powers grew stronger. The weather began to reflect her emotions. Mariner became isolated from a normal childhood to keep to herself.
As an adult, she often wondered around the city of London by herself controlling the rainy weather.
SCENE 10
INT. TRAIN - NOON
Present day.
Mariner is on the train looking out the window making the rain go in the direction she moves her finger.
The train is nearing a stop and she stops the rain.
Mariner grabs her storm necklace and closes her eyes. She looks through the rain to see outside of the train. She is happy making the passengers happy by stopping the rain as they get on and off.
She notices some girls who smile and hold hands. The platform becomes covered in thick fog.
Mariner lets go of the necklace to move to the other side of the train and look out the window. She can see the one girl moving around in the fog as the others board.
The train starts to move. Mariner watches the girl in the fog get on the train without a ticket.
Mariner stands looking out the window between the cart at the girl standing there made of fog.
The fog girl looks at Mariner right in the eyes waiting.
Mariner looks away and turns her back closing her eyes grabbing her necklace to make it rain and watch the girl.
The girl stops being fog and turns into a human. The fog fades away. The girl enters the train cart with her friends.
Mariner sits using her necklace to watch the girls from the raindrops on the window.
FOG
I think I’m really getting the hang of it. More practice and I should be able to move through walls.
HUMID
No way. If you can, then I can do the whole train.
Humid places her hand on the window. The entire train cart gets humid and the windows fill with condensation.
AERO
Stop it. I was having a good hair day. Want to see if I can get this rain to the next cart?
FOG
No fair. Yours can do that.
HUMID
Yeah, but that’s about all she can do it make it windy. Nothing dangerous about that.
AERO
No. But, maybe one day I will make a tornado happen.
Mariner watches Aero use wind to make all the water droplets on the windows move sideways along the train.
Mariner uses her powers to make it rain hard directly toward the train from both sides for the entire train. The humidity turns cold and the fog disperses around the train.
FOG
What happened?
AERO
I don’t know. I felt like I was pushed.
HUMID
It’s cold in here.
FOG
It’s not us. I don’t know who it is.
HUMID
Someone else?
The girls gather closers.
Mariner is sad to be making them scared. She grabs her sun necklace and the sun comes out gently stopping all the weather.
Mariner had got up and moved to their train cart to sit in the far corner away from them.
The girls whisper.
FOG
Hey, that girl. When I was outside the train, it felt like she was looking right at me.
HUMID
Let’s bounce at the next stop.
AERO
I’m sending a message to our school. Maybe someone will meet us.
HUMID
Good idea.
FOG
Strange. I don’t think its her. But it feels like that one winter when we all met.
AERO
I know. I sense it to.
HUMID
Me too.
SCENE 11
INT/EXT. LONDON - NOON
Mariner let’s the girls get off the train.
They quickly moved through the fog.
Mariner made it start raining again and used her power to turn herself into the rain and be invisible in the raindrops following them.
They led her to a private college.
Mariner explored all the exterior.
MARINER
I can’t believe it. A bunch of us! I’m not alone! But, they feel weak. Nothing like Sunny or Snow. What do I do?
Mariner knocks on the door.
SLEET
Password or ID.
MARINER
Umm... I was looking for these 3 girls I saw on the train.
SLEET
What! Wait There!
In a few minutes the door opened with Fog, Humid, and Aero standing with an older woman.
FOG
That’s her Dean Aquatic.
HUMID
Yeah, she followed us.
AERO
What do you want?
Mariner was smiling looking over the dean slowly.
DEAN AQUATIC
Hush girls. What have we been training you for. You don’t know?
AERO
You mean, she’s like...
DEAN AQUATIC
Yes!
The dean clears her throat and holds her hand out for a shake.
DEAN AQUATIC
I’m sorry. Where are my manners. I am Dean Aquatic. Usually we do not let curiosty get in our way. But I can tell there is something special about you.
Mariner looks the deans hand. She looks into her soul and can see the ocean.
Mariner grabs her hand.
MARINER
I’m Mariner. I didn’t mean to scare them. It’s just-
The dean squeezed Mariner’s hand. Mariner retaliated and it began to rain over them.
DEAN AQUATIC
Perfect! Rain! You’re rainy.
MARINER
Umm... Storm.
DEAN AQUATIC
Yes...
The dean looked at her hand that was collecting water.
DEAN AQUATIC
Why don’t you come in and we’ll talk. I think you would fit right in.
SCENE 12
MONTAGE
Mariner is shown the academy.
Mariner joins the school.
Mariner’s powers are stronger than everyone else's.
ACT 2
SCENE 13
INT. DORMITORY - NIGHT
Mariner hangs out with Fog, Humid, and Aero in their pajamas in the dormitory.
AERO
Wow! That was so cool today what you did! Professor Shineson was all like, I’m guna’ make you thirsty. And you were all like, I will drown you. And she like made it a hundred something in the room and you had no problem brining in this storm and making it lightening and flood. Like Ph-my-god! I can’t believe you can control your powers that much!
FOG
Oh I know! You really did see me on the train. I’ve never heard of non-pure being able to do that.
MARINER
A non-pure?
FOG
Yes. *gasp* you mean you don’t know?
HUMID
Of course she doesn’t. You don’t listen to anyone. She never met anyone like us before, who’s to be the one to tell her?
MARINER
Tell me what?
FOG
About the Four Core.
MARINER
Four Core... Like... Snow, Ice, Rain, and Wind.
FOG
Close. They were called, Sunny, Storm, Snow, and Swift.
AERO
They were left on Earth shortly after it began.
HUMID
They didn’t know where they came from or why they were left.
FOG
Hey! I was going to tell the story! Long version, short. They fought back and forth. Wiped out various species.
AERO
Like the dinosaurs!
FOG
And eventually went their own ways to form the seasons we know today and the climate zones around the world.
MARINER
And how does this relate to me?
HUMID
A pure!
FOG
You must be a pure!
MARINER
What does that mean?
HUMID
It means you are a direct descendant from one of the 4 core.
FOG
They say many have been killed. For others to have their powers, like us, being bread, and bread, and bread down for so many generations that the powers are weak.
MARINER
So, I’m a pure?
AERO
You must be! You’re powers are so strong!
MARINER
I don’t know if that’s good.
AERO
Maybe we can find Dusty?
FOG
No! No Dusty! I hate her.
AERO
Hate her or not, she would be the next closest to a pure than Mare here.
MARINER
Dusty?
AERO
Yeah, she is a 40-something child of Swift. Like, a pure. Or a grandchild of a pure. Something alone those lines.
MARINER
What am I supposed to do?
FOG
Just have fun! Brag about being number 1 here! Like, oh-my-god! Keep practicing your powers!
HUMID
I know! You have nearly passed all the training and tests that many do not accomplish their entire time here.
Mariner thinks over the information she has been given while hanging out with her new friends.

INT. TRAINING ROOM - MORNING
Mariner trains with the dean.
The dean has taken too much of an interest in her and learning all of her powers and how she proceeds about them.
Mariner starts to lie about some things and not tell her.
MARINER
Is it true?
DEAN AQUATIC
The rumors around school? That you are a pure and the world may be coming to its end how we know it?
MARINER
Yeah...
DEAN AQUATIC
I wish I could answer that. I honestly have no idea what’s going to happen. All I know is you have great powers and helping you grasp and grow them is important for all of us. Until that day comes and we find out.
Mariner is unsure if she trusts the dean.
SCENE 15
INT. THE DEAN’S OFFICE - LATE MORNING
Mariner leaves her training.
The dean gets a phone call that she doesn’t want to take right away and runs to her office.
Mariner looked out the window to make it start raining.
She uses the rain to eavesdrop on the dean.
DEAN AQUATIC
No, no, no. Not yet. I know I can get more out of her. My powers are increasing each time I watch her.
The dean paces.
DEAN AQUATIC
I know what you said. But what if I-
The dean stops.
DEAN AQUATIC
Alright. As you wish... I have matters to attend to. Bye.
The dean exist her office.
Mariner shifts herself back into human form within the dean’s office.
She looks around to find a notebook in the drawer of the desk.
MARINER
(whispers)
These drawings...
Mariner grabs her necklaces.
MARINER
These are my necklaces... They fit together if I had the other two.
She turns some pages.
MARINER
4 core no more. 1 left overall?
The drawings now show 4 people standing together and becoming one.
MARINER
This isn’t what he was doing. Wait-
Mariner turned some more pages to see a drawing of Snow and him siphoning a child.
MARINER
Is that me? No. He has sunshine all around.
Mariner takes photos of everything and makes her leave.
MARINER
On that last page, it shows Snow on top of the world in space and hundreds dead as his throne. Is that his plan? But that ritual... can it stop him?
Mariner looks at her necklaces.
MARINER
I always thought they could go together if I had another piece. What happens if I had the other two?
Mariner thinks.
SCENE 16
INT. THE CHRISTMAS BASH - NIGHT
Mariner had been secluding herself from everyone worrying over something bad happening.
FOG
Come on Mare! Come join us!
Mariner walked into a room with all the students and students from other school dancing, eating, and hanging out.
MARINER
I’m not sure if I want to be here.
HUMID
Which is exactly why you should be.
AERO
Hey... We all sense it. As long as we stick together, we’ll be fine.
FOG
Noooo. We’ll have fun! Come on and Dance!
Fog starts to funky-monkey dance.
SCENE 17
INT. CHRISTMAS BASH - NIGHT
The music stops as all the windows break.
Everyone screams and tries to run as the exits all turn to ice.
SNOW
I’ve been waiting for this day! And what a better time than a celebration decorated just for me!
Snow appears from snow falling from the upper windows.
DEAN AQUATIC
Ahw! Snow! So glad you could make it!
The dean kissed Snow’s hand and bowed to him.
MARINER
Dean Aquatica.
DEAN AQUATIC
Oh pu-lease. You knew this was going to happen. I just made it happen sooner than later.
The dean gloats to Snow.
DEAN AQUATIC
Been working her tired all week! Go ahead Snow. Drain her!
SNOW
Thank you Aquatic. Come on Storm1, shall we brawl or will you just surrender and make this easy.
MARINER
Why?
SNOW
Why what?
MARINER
Why do you want to kill me?
SNOW
To increase my power. Duh!
MARINER
Power... I have more power than anyone at this school. I don’t want power.
SNOW
Of course you don’t. But I do! I’m sick of talking!
Snow lunges at Mariner.
Mariner brings a thunderstorm and strikes a lightening bolt at him.
SNOW
My, my. Someone has been working out. Much better than 20 years ago.
MARINER
Shut up!
Mariner starts to strike with lightening and Snow moves around the room.
SNOW
Snow tries to sneak up behind Mariner and her friends get in the way to halt him.
FOG
Run!
MARINER
But...
AERO
Get away from here!
HUMID
We’ll be fine.
Mariner runs up to Snow and rips his necklace with a snowflake off him and flees out the windows into the thunderstorm she has created outside.
Snow creates a blizzard within the room pushing everyone away.
SNOW
Arrraghhh!
Snow shouts in anger losing Mariner.
SCENE 18
EXT. LONDON STREETS - NIGHT
Fog, Humid, and Aero catch up to Mariner.
MARINER
You guys...
FOG
Don’t say anything.
HUMID
That’s what friends do.
AERO
I think we should go find Gusty.
Mariner lets her friends guide her and hide her.
SCENE 19
INT. GUSTY’S HOME - MIDNIGHT
Mariner senses Gusty as they walk the street.
MARINER
Um... hello?
FOG
Hello?
HUMID
Who are you-
AERO
Shhh.
GUSTY O.S
What is it you want? I told the school to leave me alone!
AERO
We know. It’s just that...
HUMID
Mare needs you!
FOG
We might all need you.
AERO
We didn’t know where to go.
MARINER
Please. I have questions. You probably can’t answer them. But I was told you know someone who might.
Gusty opens the door to her home. A gust of wind pushes the girls inside to the living room. Gusty sits and waits.
GUSTY
You mean Swift.
MARINER
Yes. It’s snow. Look.
Mariner shows the 3 necklaces.
GUSTY
Ahhhg!
Gusty turned herself to snow to hide in the corner.
MARINER
You know what these are?
GUSTY
Yes! How did- wait? You’re the missing pure?
MARINER
Uh, I guess. I just wanted to know...
GUSTY
Wait here. I will be back!
Gusty turned to a gust of wind and left.
SCENE 20
INT. GUSTY’S HOME - MORNING
Everyone had fallen asleep.
Mariner woke up the next morning to go outside and make it rain.
Gusty appeared.
GUSTY
Here.
Mariner takes the 4th necklace of a wind symbol.
GUSTY
Swift wanted to give it to you personally. She said you already know what to do.
MARINER
Not exactly...
A loud crash comes from inside.
GUSTY
Run!

SCENE 21
EXT. HIGHGATE WOODS - BEFORE NOON
Mariner sits in the woods outside of northeast London.
She is making it storm and rain, with it not touching her.
She looks at the 4 necklaces hesitant to put them together.
Sunny appears behind her.
SUNNY
Why haven’t you put them together?
Mariner stands up fast turning around.
MARINER
Sunny!
She ran and hugged him.
MARINER
I have waited to meet you again ever since that day...
Mariner steps back looking to the side. The spot where he saved her when she was 5.
SUNNY
And here you are. Ready to protect yourself. And what else did I tell you?
MARINER
(she takes a deep breath)
The ones I love.
SUNNY
I get it. You’re scared. But we have to stop Snow. Aaaand right now...
Sunny starts to walk away.
SUNNY
You have the power to do that.
MARINER
I’m not a killer.
Sunny turned around.
SUNNY
I didn’t say kill.
The rain stops with the sun beaming through the clouds.
MARINER
I saw a journal. With rituals. I don’t see myself taking power.
SUNNY
I never said power.
MARINER
Just tell me!
SUNNY
All I will tell you, is Snow must be stopped. Nobody has to die, but if you choose to, we all die.
MARINER
We? My friends?
SUNNY
I meant the four core as we are known as.
MARINER
That means...
Mariner grabs her storm necklace.
SUNNY
Yes. Storm. Your mother.
Mariner looks at the necklaces in her hand.
MARINER
I always thought one day I would find her and she would take me away to another world full of our kind.
SUNNY
(he chuckles)
Maybe we are all related. Snow wishes for the same thing. Eventually it led him to evil. Are you evil?
MARINER
(scoffs)
No way. I-I just...
SUNNY
You just have to do what I say. You practiced your powers and wow they are phenomenal! But what else did I say?
MARINER
Protect the ones I love.
SUNNY
Yeah... and....
(sad)
Snow has them. All of them.
MARINER
What!
SUNNY
Your friends believe in you. I know your family does too! That day... man, i never seen such a devoted father. Just because he wasn’t your real father, doesn’t mean he isn’t.
MARINER
You’re right. I ran away instead of protecting them. I was scared of Snow.
Sunny rushed to Mariner and grabbed her shoulders to shake her slightly.
SUNNY
And now you are stronger!
He steps back pretending to be scared.
SUNNY
With all the necklaces, you are the strongest of all of us.
MARINER
So... with the necklaces...
SUNNY
I don’t know. Its up for you to decide. I don’t even understand them and honestly without it all these years I understand your mothers and hope Snow and Swift could have the same enlightenment.
MARINER
Alright. I think I get it. But first! I must protect everyone.
SUNNY
Atta’ girl. Let’s go.
Sun takes Mariner’s hand and the two disappear into a cloudy sunny sky.
SCENE 22
INT. THE ACADEMY - AFTERNOON
Mariner stares at the academy.
Sunny stops her from going in.
SUNNY
Before you go in, I think you should turn around.
Mariner turns around to see a woman clenching her face holding back tears.
SUNNY
Storm. Meet Storm1. Also know as Mariner.
MARINER
M-mu-mom?
STORM
Yes, baby.
MARINER
Mom!
Mariner runs into her mother’s arms.
STORM
I’m sorry.
MARINER
I don’t care. You’re here now and I never thought I would have this moment.
STORM
I know. I tried and tried to come back. But Snow always knows where I’m at. It was too dangerous. I’m sure you know, but he has killed most of our pure children. You were my first and only Storm child. The rest are like the others.
MARINER
(crying)
Mom.
Mariner steps back wiping her face.
Storm wipes her face.
STORM
I hate to put this pressure on you, but you have to stop Snow. He won’t stop killing. I know he has everyone held up in there to get to you.
MARINER
What do I do?
STORM
What you want to. Sunny, Swift, and I will take our places when you get Snow. Think of it like a compass, we just need to be on point and you in the center. The rest will just fall into place.
MARINER
Oh-kay...
They hug.
SCENE 23
Storm enters the Academy. She walks slowly to the ballroom.
When she enters Snow is clapping.
SNOW
Bravo! Ecstatic! What a courageous one we have here, right.
Snow gestures and he followers laugh.
SNOW
I thought about siphoning everyone's powers, but why miss the fun to let you watch?
MARINER
Let them all go!
SNOW
Or what? You’ll top me. Psshh. Puh-lease.
Snow stands from his ice throne and walks toward Mariner standing in the center of the room.
SNOW
Oh? You think I don’t know? You have my necklace and are going to drain my powers with it? I don’t think so little girl. You did me a favor. That think kept me suppressed. I longed for the meaning of it and to find who placed it around my neck before
(screams)
Abandoning me

On this planet.
Mariner holds her hand out to the side and lets the necklace fall. All four are snapped together.
SNOW
Oh... You’re serious. I guess there
(screams)
LINGERING AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE! Huh! Why don’t you all come out!
Snow runs around Mariner in a circle.
SNOW
Sunny here! Storm here. Swift here. And oh stupid me right here. Come on let’s do it!
Sunny, Storm, and Swift walk in to stand right with Mariner.
SNOW
Blech... reunions.
SUNNY
Just give up Snow.
SNOW
You give up! That ritual will not work unless I surrender my powers and I’m not guna’ do that. Nope. No way. No how. Check please! Bring out the hook!
SWIFT
Then we surrender it all to Storm1.
Swift places her hand on Mariner’s shoulder and she glows.
Storm places her hand on her back and glows.
STORM
I’m sick of running. I don’t want the power any more.
SUNNY
I don’t get why we have to fight.
Sunny places his hand on Mariner’s other shoulder and he glows.
SUNNY
I at least did it, just to see you.
SNOW
Oh boo who. You all make me sick. Always have. Fine! You want to give your powers to this stupid girl, fine. Be my guest. I will just siphon all of your powers at once. She won’t know how to use them anyways.
SUNNY
Say it to my face.
SNOW
What?
SUNNY
Say you will not miss us. To my face.
Snow is angry. He hurries right up to Sunny pointing his finger in his face.
SNOW
I will miss you the lease!
Sunny and Swift grab Snow.
Mariner hugs him.
Storm moves behind him and wraps her arms around.
The 5 are now wrapped together.
SNOW
What is this? How! What are you doing!
Mariner squeezes the necklace between her palms.
MARINER
I have to protect the ones I love. With the strength of there love.
SNOW
Love, shmove. Let me go!
Snow starts to melt.
MARINER
I will not kill you. But I can make everything even.
The fore core start to glow and look more human.
MARINER
I took your power Snow. All of your powers. And now I am sharing it.
The fore core all fall to the ground as humans.
MARINER
I have spoke with my necklace my whole life. You all have. With all four of them together, nobody needs power.
Mariner holds the necklace out that is glowing for each symbol and color.
MARINER
You always wanted to go to where you came from. I wanted to go there to. If you all worked together, you would have. Everyone is long dead now. Only this remains and I will hide it where nobody will ever find it.
SNOW
Nooooo!
Mariner turns into a flash of bolting lightening and exits the room.

BEGINING
We see the London skyline at night. The sky is cloudy. Lightning strikes in the distance.
A woman is scared running in the rain from something. She leaves her baby with a boy.
The boy takes the baby inside and his parents fall in love with her.
Years later, the girl gets in trouble at school for her parents to show up.
Dream I had
The penthouse or whatever top of building downtown London
Meeting people to visit and they have a bowling alley in kitchen. For some reason spills and messes disappeared, thinks robots
There butler is gone and the rest of the club
Errand boy is hated and new
The others return and are upset to have meeting over new man servants. NOT butler?
She leaves and says not into servants. Meets some guys to share cab with who love she plays video games and says the club sounds dumb, but cool for them being dorks. They are shocked by her age and she shows her ID for name.
Guys leave she runs into the errand boy, revels is undercover cop. She shows id, he places tracking and says to forget him and not to loose the ID
She is curious more about the club to be shown they have a secret with these ritual pillars. Not all get and since she is like them and completes the needed. Storm1 on the pillar with other elements numbered.
MIDDLE
In some place building security and rooms men in charge, she doesn’t want to be with the club. She sees someone she knows. She venters away from the club, past security easily, and searches 2nd floor.
Lots of women of the rival club. Women changing into burlesque reindeer outfits (can-can style) Sees her club. Continues to more rooms.
She finds the girl she met before who claims undercover and not to blow it and her breaking rules as new initiate. Mar claims outranks and girl says she lead and Mar wants to know why.
People come in. Girl yells to cover saying she is trespassing and trying to get info. Mar pretends she is lost and thought the girl was her club.
Mar leaves and everyone is suspicious, maybe they sense her storm. Mar runs into more of her club questioning her loyalty.
Mar hides in a room with claw machine for first friend to pretend not to know her from text questioning and crap. Luck from the errand boy, but the girl thinks her and helps her flee.
Mar hides in a kitchen. She runs into one of her mentors/madams who is highly recommending eating a cupcake before it gets cold. A kitchen that is very cold in the air. Icey lady in the room. Chocolate cupcakes with white icing. And chocolate drizzle. Grinch mountain shaped.
Mar runs into the other friend from start who is sad and unsure if she should help or pretend not to know. Mar says let her go and the girl also has Goodluck at the machine to think she is lucky, but still errand boy secretly.
Mar ran into the head Madam. She takes Mar for a walk. Tells Mar, the girls were testing her and there is a reason she is storm1. Her number1. Says the clubs are divided intentionally to create drama to motivate and strengthen the girls. She has no quarrels with the other club. Who has one storm and no others. But she knew one. Tells her to go talk to her and the club will have to deal with her. Great lady. (Great Lady’s each complete other’s circles, until Storm to fill Storm. Other clubs, of men)
Mar learns the other club leader is her mother. Why she abandoned her. Protecting her from... Mar’s mother is killed.
Storm barley fights off with Lucky Boy and her friends and Madams with the Dukes saving.
A rouge duke... has dead attached to his pillars with dark magic. Focal points around town are connected and why they think their pillars are how they are.

Mar wants to give up and go back to her other life.
Everyone begs her. Some girls apologize.
She attends the funeral for the dead Madam that has all the factions... and more. With banquet after in secret place magic help.

Prologue
Prologue
Earth is home to billions of people. They live their lives day by day. Ignorant of the trillions, the share the planet with. Quadrillions, no. Decillions! Adding in the microorganisms we cannot see with the eye. Earth began as bacteria. It grew and evolved. Earth was home to a variety of creatures that continued to evolve for millions of years.
From the beginning...
Not only did living things begin. But other phenomena happened. The most important factor that make Earth unique and has stuck around with not much change would be its weather...
Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time. Sunny, Stormy, Windy, Snowy... and more...

When Earth was born, life began. The weather was born. Touched by the angels who claimed to return again one day, 4 beings of the weather became human. Able to control the weather, they had fun creating other variations of it. Snow liked to blend with Storm and make Ice. Wind liked to move all the rain and snow about to bring sun. And Sun would go and shine for the others to move in and change it. This cycled around in a steady routine. From their frolic, others were born. Snow did not like this. He hated his windy child. He hated the sun out in the snow. Filled with hatred, he blanketed the Earth in ice. After morning the loss of their children, the others managed to push Snow into the ends of the Earth and return to sharing the weather. Snow still manages to have his time over the others. The others are happy, but never let him have his time.
Eventually, the weather just found a routine blended around the world.
Chapter 1
We see the London skyline at night. The sky is cloudy. Lightning strikes in the distance.
A woman appears in an alley with a long cloak on from a cloud. “I’ll find you a safe place.” The hood is up. As she walks the cloud disappears. She is holding a baby. A streetlight flickers as she turns the corner, “no!” She shouted and pulled the baby close to her chest with her curled over it. “Just a light.” The woman is frightened and picks up her pace. Lightening fills the street and thunder follows. By the next turn, it begins to pour rain. She stops under an awning to catch her breath and looks around. “Something around here will protect her.” Leaning up against the door, she looks down the street to see a puddle of water starting to freeze. A man slips upon it. She gasps! “Why, Ice...” She gasps again when turning around as the door to the building opened.
A young teenage boy was putting his coat on to take off his headphones gazing in awe at the woman. “Umm... do I know you?” The woman looked down at her baby and down the street. The ice was moving. The puddle where the man slipped melted. She hugged the boy with the baby in her arms. “Uhh... okay? Who are you?” He was caught off guard. When she stepped back, he was holding the baby. “Wait a minute.” The woman turned around fast as he looked down at the baby. “Hey!” When he looked up a flash of lightning shined and thunder clashed. The baby whined and the boy pulled it into his jacket. “Come back! Please!” He felt a chill and stepped back into the house seeing ice in a puddle in front of him just before closing the door. More lightning and thunder clashed for the rain to slow down and turn to ice crystal.
The boy went back inside his house and his mom ran over, “Jude! What is that!’ Angry at first. “Freddie!” She yelled for his father.
The boy shrugged to explain, “this woman hugged me. As soon as I opened the door. She looked scared. Not homeless. She was very pretty and had nice material on. I was caught off guard.”
The father ran in and looked at his watch and then son, “what? You need a ride Jude. You know I’m about ready for bed.” he sees the baby in his wife’s hands and runs to her. “Wha is this!” He turned angry to Jude, “Jude! What have I!”
“No honey.” The wife stops Freddie. “It’s not his.”
“Oh thank god.” Freddie is relived. “Where did it come from.” He put his finger to the baby’s face and she grabbed it. “Ain’t you the cutest thing.”
The boy shook his head no. “A woman just put her in my arms when I opened the door. She was scared. Ran off in the blink of an eye.” Jude explained again. They all crowd the baby and looked out the window as lightning flashed. Thunder followed, and the power went out.
“Jude, Candles. Mary, stay here.” Freddie took control. He came back with blankets and a bottle of formula and gin.
“For heaven's sake dear!” Mary spoke.
“Don’t worry. This is formula your sister left last summer. The date says its still good.” He throws a blanket over Mary and wraps another around her. He had a baby blanket in his hands to take the baby from Mary. “You said you always wanted another. This is a gift. Of course we’ll go to the authorities. But, in this weather?” They look out the window.
Jude returns with candles. He lights and sets them up around the room. “Am I in trouble?” Jude sat next to his father looking down at the baby drinking from the bottle. “I sware it’s not mine.”
Mary smiled and squeezed his shoulder, “you’re fine.”
“We’re all fine! Look at this little angel!” Freddie moved his nose close to the baby’s nose, “this is such a cute little girl!”
Jude asks, “it’s a girl? I mean... is it ok to check if the diaper doesn't need to be changed?”
“Well...” Freddie leans to Mary and they pull aside the wrap and smile at Jude.
“It’s a girl.” Mary says.
“Is... she... like.. My sister now? How does this work? I don’t want to be the dad.” Jude is nervous.
Freddie pulls the bottle away, “thatta’ girl. Shhhhushhhh.” He whispers and begins to rock the baby in his arms, “we will see in the morning.”
Lighting strikes and thunder booms outside!
“Yikes! Quite the storm we have tonight.” Mary stated. “The tellie said just showers. Not the full storm.”
“Maybe that’s what we shall call her. A nickname for now. Storm. If the authorities can’t do anything. We will keep her. If she should call me dad or grandpa, I’m not sure.”
Jude stood up fast, “whoa! Like I said, I’m not ready to be a dad! Think of what everyone at school would think?”
Mary and Freddie smile at Jude. Mary stood up to hug Jude, “Very well. Then, she will be your cousin and us her aunty and uncle.” Mary stood back holding Jude’s shoulders, “she’s your cousin. But, a secret. Some great aunt on my side you never met’s kids kid.”
Jude and Mary sit next to Freddie and look at the baby. Storm looks tries to look out the window for more lightening and thunder.
Chapter 2
10 years later...
“Mariner (Mare-uh-ner)! Mare!” We see Freddie, looking old and tired. “Mare! Please!” He is struggling walking through the forest. The sky is getting dark. As his breathing becomes rapid, he stops to lean on a tree. A rain drop hit his glasses and he looks up watching clouds become thick. He sees lightning. Whining, “Maaree. Please...” His body starts to drop against the tree until his is sitting with his legs bent in the air. “Mare.” His eyes close, reaching his arm out, looking into the forest. “Mariiiner...”
The rain starts to fall gently. All the clouds go from grey to a black. Lightning shines. Large footsteps are stomping over the foliage. “Dad?” It is Jude. He hears his dad speaking Mariner’s name. “Dad” Moving faster Jude stops to let branches swing behind him. Smiling he walks toward Freddie. “She got us again?”
“Jude. Mu'boy!” Freddies reaches an arm out to him leaning sitting against the tree. “Please. Call her back. I’m too old for this.” Jude was helping Freddie to a stand. “I’m too old for this. I feel like she may have outgrown us.” Jude starts to walk with Freddie over his shoulder. “Mare! It’s almost dinner time.”
“Yeah!” Jude shouts! “I’m guna’ eat yours! Dad’s poot!” Jude smiles. Looking up into the sky to see lighting and thunder sound, he looks over the shoulder Freddie is over. “Please!”
“Oh, you know her,” Freddie clears his throat, “Mare! My darling! If you come back with us, we are sure to lather you with love as we sit as dog out in this god forsaken rain you have blessed our lives with.” He pushes himself away from Jude to stand with a hobble. Both arms out and looking up toward the sky as it begins to downpour, “Mare it bring us a storm!”
Brushes in the woods are heard. Freddie and Jude smile. They walk away from the sounds.

At a campsite...
Mary had multiple hot dogs stabbed into long metal sticks rested around a fire roasting. She looks up at the sky to see the lighting and hear the thunder. Walking into a tent, an arm is placed into the sleeves of a raincoat. She speak aloud, “Mare... you know the boys don’t like this.” She rotates the hotdogs and walks to a SUV. “Men can’t handle weather changes. Too moody.” She opened the back of the vehicle to pull out an L shape pieces of metal. “Not like us women! Hormonal as always.” She grabbed and umbrella from inside a tent. “I’m here waiting to hear all your stories!” She looks up as rain beings to pour and lighting shine with thunder. “I love all of your guys words!”

Jude and Freddie walk toward their camp in the woods. Jude saw the fire to rush forth. “Oh? Son surpasses the father?” Jude stopped to turn around and look at his dad. “I’m only joking. And...” Freddie walked passed Jude to the camp turning to look at him. “ Looks like I still made it back first.” Jude bites his lip and puts his hands on his hips as Freddie walks backwards towards Mary and the campfire. “Old man still gots’ it! And you, didn't know if you wanted to be on the trip with us! Ahah!’ Freddie turns to lean down and kiss Mary.
“I love these trips! Maybe...” Jude halts to look at the ground.
“Maybe what, Jude?” Mary worries... she stands up to walk to Jude fast.
“Maybe... it wasn’t me. Maybe it as ah... uh... Jill?” Jue is nervous to look at his mom placing his hands in his pockets.
“Jill?” Mary thinks for a moment. Very excited, “Jill! Aww! You could have brought your girlfriend!” She hugs Jude. “If mare was here right now, she could join in me telling oyu I wanted grandkids then. I am ready for you and her in some years.” Jill starts to cry. Stepping back to look at her son with both hands cupped around her mouth sobbing, “don’t be afraid. We love you both and whoever you do to.”
Freddie had stood to comfort and wrap his arms around jill, “Mare! Your missing this!” He shouted looking around in the rain.
They all look around as lightning holds a sill of light. Mariner looks to be landing on the found gracefully. The light disperses and thunder sounds as the campfire is the only light shining on them. “I’m here! I always am.” She pokes Jude in the shoulder. “I’m happy you finally told them!”
Jude is embarrassed, “Mareee-”
Mariner ran over to hug Mary and Freddie. “Don’t worry! I will always be here!’ They all smile.
