This was my assignment for a class Spring semester of 2024. The teacher had pulled me out of the zoom with the rest of the class to place me into a private course. She gave me a D, and I have to retake the course. Once I start writing I start and we were on module 6 by week 12 and I panicked to just go ahead and do it with what was given in the course and he say I did it all wrong and it was terrible because I didn't do my outline correct and that is why she kept me at Mod 4 by the last week of 15. Even though I was constantly asking the correct way to just move on. She is very old, and half the time kept talking about other student's stories as mine and me correct her that my protagonists name is Andrew and not what she would say or talk about. Apparently she has her own production company, but could never show us example of it or "good" and "correctly" written work.
My formatting was all wrong.
No matter what, she still says you can not begin anything with a montage and there are no continuous scenes. But that contradicts some of the other film courses I did before her writing course.
This one will take longer to put on here. It does not copy and paste from my Final Draft Software.

MR. LEESH

The man and woman walk to sit. The little boy smiles to look at everything in the bucket and pull out a lollipop.
ANDREW
Thanks for waiting. My name is Andrew. Looks like we have some first time home buyers. Step into my office and let’s see what matches your needs best.
MR. LEESH
Yes, we have some homes in mind, but were suggested we see you first. I have bought cars and have credit cards, but mortgages are a whole new ball game.
ANDREW
Speaking of ball game, did you see last nights-
(He closes his office door)
Grace smiles watching Andrew from her desk across the bank. She looks at her calendar on her desk showing his birthday in a couple weeks. Looking at the clock on the wall of the bank the time reads 12:17 p.m.

MR. MEDDERIAN
Right! Oooooo!
(He takes a lollipop)
Someone had good taste today. Have a good rest of your day and see you tomorrow.
GRACE
You the same, Mr. Medderian.
SCENE 9
INT. THE BANK - MID-DAY - NOT A HERO
Grace smiles as a teller waves leaving for the day.
Another teller walks in.
TYLER
Hey, Grace. Umm... not to sound like I’ve been watching to many movies, but there’s a group of guys out there just sitting all in black.
GRACE
What?
TYLER
Yeah, in that green car over there.
GRACE
Umm... thank you for letting me know. I will let the uppers know and have the cameras check in on them.
TYLER
Kay. Thanks. What window am I at today?
GRACE
Go ahead and take 3 or 5. Jodi is gone for the day as is Mr. Medderian. I will move Connor to the drive up when Lesli takes her lunch.
TYLER
Cool.
Grace looks out the window, barely able to see the group of men sitting in the car. She picks up her phone to call Andrew.
Andrew was smiling and laughing with his clients to be puzzled when his phone rings seeing it’s Grace’s line. He looks up through the glass between the clients.
ANDREW
What is it Grace? I am with clients right now.
GRACE
I know. It’s just that Mr. Mederrian is gone and Tyler pointed out we have a group of suspicious guys sitting in their car.
(She looks back)
Where did they go?
Grace looks forward toward the front door as a gun is pointed in her face.
ROBBER 1
Hang up before I blow your brains out.
Grace slams the phone down to put her hands up.
GRACE
Oh god! Please don’t hurt me.
ROBBER 2
Everybody down on the ground! Now!
(He fires his gun into the air and laughs)
Everyone screams and hits the ground.
Andrew hit an alarm at his desk as did the drive up teller and other tellers.
ROBBER 3
Who’s in charge here!
ROBBER 1
(Still gun at Grace)
Who’s in charge here?
GRACE
(Panicked)
Uh-hhh, h-he left for lunch. Right before you came in. I sware!
ROBBER 2
We know, but who’s in charge right now?
ROBBER 4
Everyone out from behind the desk!
ROBBER 2
(To Tyler)
You! YOu just walked in. Give us all the money from behind the counter!
Tyler looks at Andrew.
ROBBER 3
Oh, so you’re in charge.
Robber 3 rushed over to Andrew
ANDREW
Go ahead Tyler. Do as they say.
ROBBER 3
On your feet! Now!
ANDREW
Alright!
Andrew looks over at Grace who still has a robber holding a gun at her and she looks at Andrew to start crying.
ANDREW
It’s okay, Grace.
(Louder to all as he is escorted by gun point)
Everyone, it’s okay. It’s just money. You will all be home in your beds tonight.
ROBBER 3
Shut-up! Open the safe!
ANDREW
I can’t do that. The alarm has been triggered and it won’t open. When that happens the code is reset and can only be opened by the company that made it with their computer.
ROBBER 1
How much we got?
ROBBER 4
Not enough.
ROBBER 3
Open the safe!
ANDREW
I can’t! But, I can take you to a safe deposit box. It has 50-grand in there.
ROBBER 3
What about the other boxes? What’s inside them?
ANDREW
I don’t have a key to them without the clients. This box is my own. Take it. No dye packs, no tracking devices.
ROBBER 2
(Opens a stack of money)
Aw, shit!
(He is covered in dye)
ROBBER 3
How do we remove the dye packs? Get me that 50 g’s!
ANDREW
I can remove them for you, but you have to set them down a table. Just don’t hurt anyone.
Andrew opens his safe deposit box to hand the fifty-thousand dollars to the robber.
ROBBER 3
Alright. Now to the bag on the table. Remove the dye packs.
Sirens can be heard outside.
ROBBER 1
We need to go!
ROBBER 3
Grab everything, let’s move! Forget the dye packs!
The robbers start to scramble. Police begin to surround the building in riot gear. A S.W.A.T. truck pulls up with many men running out.
Andrew is relived to see the robbers attempt to exit the building. They stop when seeing all the law enforcement and S.W.A.T. sending a couple men into the bank.
ROBBER 1
What do we do?
ROBBER 3
Out the back!
ANDREW
They’ll be thee too.
ROBBER 3
What’s that? You playing mind games?
ANDREW
No. I’m just saying that they are all around the building. I don’t think you have a choice.
ROBBER 3
Shut up!
The robber slams his gun into the back of Andrew’s head. He falls to the ground and the robber begins to stomp his head hard. Andrew is unconscious and bleeding with some of his skull showing.
The S.W.A.T. Team bursts in through the front doors and launch gas grenades. The gas puts everyone to sleep as the robbers try no to breath it in and shot. They are shot down and fall asleep.
The S.W.A.T. team hurries in to call in medical crew. They find Andrew and he is taken out first and fast.

ANDREW
(Opening his eyes)
Agh, my head. Ow.
(HE sat up to tug wires)
Where am I? What happened?
(He looks around)
Hello! Is this a hospital?
A nurse hurries in. Wearing a face mask, hair in a bun, and wearing scrubs.
NURSE
You’re awake!Good Morning. I will get the doctor.
ANDREW
Wait? Can you tell me what happened? Why am I hear.
NURSE
Oh dear. Yes, you suffered brutal blunt trauma by a man robbing your bank. He bashed your head in to repeatedly stomp the back of your skull. You went to surgery right away and-
(She grabs his clipboard)
You have been here almost 3 weeks in this ICU in a coma.
ANDREW
A Coma? 3 weeks?
(touches wound on head)
Ow.
NURSE
Careful. I will get the doctor.
The nurse exits the room and retrieves the doctor.
Andrew is puzzled and trying to remember the last thing and only just waking up going to the work. He remembers emptying his safe deposit box and handing his 50 g to the robber.
Talking to himself.
ANDREW
3 weeks? Robbers? Did I?
DOCTOR
Andrew!
Andrew looks at the doctor entering the room as a nurse starts to take his vitals and record information from the machines he is hooked up to.
DOCTOR
That’s good. You know who Andrew is.
ANDREW
Well, yeah-
DOCTOR
Don’t worry. After a couple hours we will move you to a step-down unit. Someone will come in and explain everything to you. First, we need to see if you have any amnesia, side effects, or new illness since your accident. So far you are coherent and functioning. Speech adequate and ready to go home showing you feel able to do so.
ANDREW
Was anyone else hurt?
DOCTOR
Our records indicated only you as civilians. The robbers on the other hand had treatment to be sent away to the big house. You even gave your own money to the robbers that stalled them for the police to arrive.
ANDREW
*phew* Thank god. The last thing I can remember was handing over stacks of money to a man at the bank. I don’t really remember anything else other than my normal work days. They all seem to blend.
DOCTOR
As a doctor I know that. Patients in and out for this and that. Let’s get you home as soon as possible. You seem to be doing well. Let’s get started.
SCENE 12
CONTINUOUS
This is clips of Andrew answering questions and doing psychical therapy. He is moved from the ICU into a step-down facility.
In his room he has a whiteboard with lots of question and answers. Simple, basic, his name, where he works, mother an father’s names, where he grew up, fav food, colour, etc.
He repeats this for a week daily. A nurse would come in every morning and evening to ask him more questions, take his vitals, and administer medications.
He meets with a therapist, and after that is sent home.
Back home the first thing he does is lays down on his bed and goes to sleep.
SCENE 13

In his dream, he dreams about going to work.
A woman walks into the bank and right up to Andrew.
ROSIE
Hey there! You’re looking well. How are you?
ANDREW
Thanks. I am doing good. I work in this bank, may I assist you with any loans or financing?
ROSIE
A loan? I hate paying my car off as it is. Unless you can make that go away.
(She chuckles)
As far as a home, I’m not ready. Alright, what is your name?
ANDREW
Andrew.
ROSIE
What is your fav food? I absolutely love stroganoff. In fact I get it every Thursday with my friend when we meet up for drinks. We have been doing that for a decade now. I love her so much and wouldn’t know what to do if she went gone from my life.
ANDREW
Stroganoff. I’ve had it from a box. Single guy, living alone, buy anything in the boxes, bags, and cans.
ROSIE
That’s better than fast food. Good for you. I see your shirt, pants, and even your socks are blue. Is that your favourite colour?
ANDREW
Yes. I love blue! Very observant of you. I see your wearing pink. Is that your favourite colour?
ROSIE
I lost my mother to breast cancer and during our final memories, I did grow a customed to it and try not to freak people out when I go home from work and match everything in my kitchen.
They both laugh.
Andrew laughs some sleeping on his couch in real life.
SCENE 14
INT. THE BANK - NOON - NOT BACK YET
The next day, Andrew drives to work. His head is still bandaged up and he is not wearing his suit to be in a t-shirt and jeans.
He walks in for all his co-workers to be happy and welcome him. He looks at his office to see it is full of flowers, food, beverages, cards, signs, and get well soon or we miss you gratitude and support from his co-workers and some from the people in the bank the day it was almost robbed.
He is hugged by Grace and others pat him on the back or shake his hand happy he is making a good recovery.
Mr. Medderian walks out of his office happy and with a check in hand.
MR. MEDDERIAN
(Talks loud to all)
Welcome back Andrew! Of course, you can’t work today, you just barely got home from the hospital. But! And look right there for the cameras, if that is okay?
ANDREW
Yes. Why?
MR. MEDDERIAN
Because, I have here a check for $100,000 dollars in your name!
ANDREW
What?
Civilians int he bank gawk and congratulate, as the employees start to cheer for Andrew.
MR. MEDDERIAN
A few weeks ago, 4 assholes thought they could be like the movies and strike it rich fast. Instead they are sentenced to prison for the next 30 to fifty years unless death comes first.
(People chuckle listening)
Andrew,
(He looks into Andrew’s eyes, shaking his hand)
I hired you at my bank almost 20 years ago as a teller and you went to school, got those degrees, and been right under me the past decade. A bank robbery is not common today for you to follow procedures and protocols. Nobody was harmed and you used quick thinking to give up your own $50,000 to make the thieves happy and try to avoid others getting hurt. That is why I am replacing the $50,000 you gave up sitting in an evidence locker right now, with a bonus and thanks for being a hero!
(People cheer)
When I retire, this bank is all yours. Thank you Andrew.
Andrew doesn’t know what to think and reads the check. He looks up at all his co-workers and clients in the bank cheering him on.
SCENE 15
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - NIGHT- ROUTINE
Andrew sits on his couch watching sports games he missed when in the hospital.
He gets a message from his friend about going out this weekend. Andrew replies saying he is available all week and hates his work is making him wait to go back. The friend tells him to answer the door in about 15 mins.
15 minutes go by and his friends tells him to answer the door. Looking down the hall in apartment building he looks down to see food delivered to him. He takes it to his couch and thanks his friend who says he loves him and glad he is back wishing a strong recovery, bar Friday!
The sun sets and Andrew looks at the time.
ANDREW
Time for meds.
He enters his kitchen to see his calendar wrong. He put a star the day the bank was robbed and a line up till he got home. To mark a countdown till he can work again in 15 days. He pulled out his phone to mark his doctor and therapist appointments too.
After, Andrew picks up his medications and reads the bottles again with directions to make sure he takes them properly.
Andrew falls asleep on the couch again.
SCENE 16
DREAM SEQUENCE
Andrew is dreaming being at work again.

SCENE 17
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - MORNING - AGAIN
Andrew wakes up in the morning. He gets up right away off his couch to get ready. He remembers his dream, bit by bit, talking to himself questioning.
ANDREW
Did I dream that last night? Or the night before?
The next few nights go by for Andrew to wake up sweaty during the same dream on his couch. Each time he drinks a glass of water, and falls back asleep in his own bed.
He works on falling asleep in his bed and not the couch questing why he is having the same dream.
SCENE 18
DREAM SEQUENCE
Andrew is dreaming being at his work again. This time a couple with their child walk in. He has no problem taking them to his office to discuss financing options. He looks up at one point to see the woman again at the teller.
Andrew get jealous to storm out and stop the lady as she started to walk out.
ANDREW
Hey! I’m Andrew. I like your blue bracelet. It’s my favourite colour.
ROSIE
Nice to meet you. I actually enjoy your pink tie, that is my favourite colour.
ANDREW
Have we met before. Felt like I needed to talk to you.
ROSIE
I suppose this is an official meeting. I see multiple people everyday, in and outside of work. Tell me, what do you do for work?
ANDREW
Thanks. I am doing good. I work in this bank, may I assist you with any loans or financing?
ROSIE
Financing? I hate paying my car off as it is. Unless you can make that go away.
(She chuckles)
As far as a home, I’m not ready.
ANDREW
And that is why I help people do what they can and avoid what they can’t.
ROSIE
How nice of you. Can you tell me what you do for fun?
ANDREW
I tend to go out with my friend son weekends and drink with watching sports.
ROSIE
Excellent. All questions are done. I wish you a good day.
ANDREW
What?
Andrew is confused in his dream. He turns around to see the lobby where he was just standing and relive the being hit in the back of the head to hit the ground and be beaten repeatedly.
His eyes close in the dream, to open laying in his bed in real life.
Andrew sits up off the edge of his bed to run his fingers through his hair confused.
Checking his phone, it is Friday. For him to get ready and go about his day.
SCENE 19
INT. BAR/CLUB - NIGHT TIME - FRIENDS
Andrew tells his friends about his dreams he has been having.
One states he probably shouldn’t drink on the meds and they have those sort of side effects.
Rich taps Andrew on the shoulder and points to the crowd dancing.
RICH
Hey look, Grace is here.
ANDREW
Oh, and Tyler too.
RICH
Aren't you going to tap that?
ANDREW
Nah, just don’t feel it.
RICH
You always do.Something About power at work and outside of work, inner dominance.
ANDREW
Maybe its the meds, I just don’t feel much like it. I actually am ready to sleep and see if I have that dream again.
RICH
Ah, the dream again. Are you sure you’re not just not feeling 12 again with wet dreams you anticipate mornings!
Rich punches Andrew’s shoulder slightly to chug his beer.
ANDREW
Shut up. You wish you were like that with Miss Barnett again?
(He stands)
Tell you what, you always liked Grace, you go over to here. I don’t want to mess with that any more.
(He pulls out cash)
Tonight just feels wrong.
(Hands cash to Rich)
For the drinks.
Andrew turns around to be stopped by Grace and Tyler.
GRACE
Andrew!
(She hugs him)
It’s been so empty without you here the past few weeks.
(She steps back)
TYLER
Good to see you out and about again. You may be above me at work, but places like this I have missed more to crave that at work you. Eh-heh.
ANDREW
Thanks. Both of you. Look, I’m on my way out. But, Grace-
(He gently pushes her to Rich at the table)
You remember Rich. I’d appreciate it if you kept him company as I am abandoning him to go home and rest.
TYLER
Oh, we can do that. Anything for you Andrew. Rest up and get back to work as soon as possible.
ANDREW
Thanks, Tyler. See-ya.
GRACE
Wait! How about a drink! On me.
RICH
I’ll buy you that drink. I’ve always liked you, Grace. Not sure why Andrew has always been on your eye. I can tell you right now, he value work more and not you in his future.
GRACE
Oh yeah? I think Andrew just needs to know more of me. Why not tell me more about him. He’s always with you. Why is it your friends around he denies us?
RICH
Because you work together. And I may not be there during work hours at the bank, but keeping order is important to him.
GRACE
What?
TYLER
Aw, come on Grace, you never picked up on that? I even feel above you on the pay grades and superiority, even as a gay man I feel I would get Andrew before you.
GRACE
No true! I love him!
TYLER
What is love?
RICH
Oh, baby don’t hurt me...
RICH AND TYLER
Don’t hurt me, no more!
TYLER
I’m making a request. BRB!
RICH
So, Grace... what is it you love about Andrew. We’ve been best friends for almost 30 years. So, much alike.
GRACE
(Rolls her eyes)
He’s just so cute!
RICH
You sound like my girlfriend’s niece in high school. You still there in life.
GRACE
No! It's just... I- I have worked at that bank since I graduated high school.
RICH
Ah! You are still there and clinging to and refusing the inedible. I can help you with that or you can turn it into worse and possibly ruin your life. I can tell you right now, if you are left on the side that is all it ever is. Where this change, placing me on the front line, means and end to the previous and there is no going back.
GRACE
Whatever. Just order the drinks.
RICH
Fine.

This continues for a few days.
His co-workers are noticing his agitation.
They begin to give him clients again.
By the end of the week, he went to the break room to make ramen.
Grace walks in.
GRACE
Andrew. Took you a few days, but now your being your old self.
ANDREW
What do you mean?
GRACE
You haven’t took a lunch all week. I never seen you look at everyone to walk in and out of the bank. Plus, you’ve been staying in your office instead of going all over the bank.
ANDREW
Oh, uh... Must be adjusting back to this. Slow time for financing, I guess.
GRACE
If you say so. Just know, I’m here for you. Work or outside. You’re a stranger now.
ANDREW
Umm... thanks.
Scene 23

I’m sorry Rich. I-I just don’t feel like going out. I’m pretty tired after going back to work this week.
RICH
Still dreaming of that girl?
ANDREW
Yeah, but that’s not it.
RICH
Hmm... Well, I ‘ve known you most of my life. The only time you were like this was when you lost your virginity to Rebecca in the 10th grade.
(He pats his shoulder)
I’m here for you. There only dreams. You know where to find me if you change your mind.
ANDREW
Right. Thanks. Go have fun.
RICH
I’ll try. It’s not the same without you. I’d rather have you alive and well, but this new you... It’s new, that’s all.
ANDREW
Got it. They are only dreams.
RICH
Get some sleep if your so tired you pansy ass.
ANDREW
Andrew drink my share so the bank looks right!
Andrew smiles closing his apartment door watching Rich walk off. He looks at the time to take his medications and fall asleep with a smile.
SCENE 23
INT. THE BANK - NOON
Tyler knocks on Andrew’s office window to be let in.
TYLER
Hey, Andrew. I know everyone’s been all up in your business about the accident and coming back to work. So, I thought I would try something different.
(He sits across the desk)
Maybe you just need an ear to talk about changes or what’s on your mind? I think its been a nice change of boring bank life, but need the other side of gossip from others.
ANDREW
Um... I do welcome a change over what’s wrong and what they can do for help.
(He squints)
Do you know anything about dreams?
TYLER
Tyler leans over the desk, oh this is new. Yes! Dreams are so much. I happen to get my tarot reading done by this friends often she does for a hobby and the dream world is important. It reflects our daily lives. Stress dreams wake up in nightmares, lucid dreaming can be desires and-
ANDREW
Lucid dreaming? What’s that?
TYLER
That’s when you can control your dreams. Or you may wake up to go right back and continue them. i had this problem for a little while when I was seeing this one guy and I grew to like the dreams more than reality.
ANDREW
How did you get over it?
TYLER
I set up him meeting his dream man to use as a reason to hate and yell to move on with someone else who witnessed. Am I an awful person?
ANDREW
No. Honestly... I am worrying I may be in love with someone and it makes no sense that I keep dreaming about her. My friend said high school me again. I just want the bank to pick up and stay busy not thinking of it.
TYLER
Oh? Love you say? Dish, dish, dish! Tell me what it is you like about her the most? It is a woman?
ANDREW
Yes, very funny Tyler.
(Smiles looking at desk)
It’s so hard to explain. She comes up to me and I love it, she doesn’t and I rush up to her. When she asks me things she seems so happy and intrigued with what I say and oh, get this, what I like most about her is she always tells things in a story if I ask her or I tell her something she responds. Like her favourite food, she doesn't just say stroganoff, she says she has had it every Thursday with her friend for years as if the meaning behind why is more valued than the actual answer.
TYLER
Wow. It does sound like your in love. How long have you been seeing her and how often?
ANDREW
Well- since the accident. It’s... it’s like every night.
TYLER
(He looks back)
That’s more than Grace. Hush-hush work place, but I’ve been working here for years to know you never been the one to stick with the same face, let alone every morning.
ANDREW
I know. Everyone notices the change in me. I’d like to say its the accident, but not sure what to do if I ever stop seeing her.
TYLER
Well, I like this bonding. Your secret is safe with me. If you need to, go ahead and tell me about her all you want. This was fun.
Tyler leaves the office.
Andrew sits smiling thinking about Rosie.
Grace stops Tyler from returning to the teller desk.
GRACE
What was that?
(Jealous)
TYLER
What’s what?
GRACE
You know what I mean. Why is he smiling like that.
TYLER
That, oh don’t worry. Just some guy talk. I have customers in line.
Andrew sits at his desk to start researching dreams along with the supernatural psychic world at his desk.
SCENE 24
CONTINUOUS
Andrew finds himself day dreaming about his sleep dreams at work during any down time.
He is going home to take his medications earlier and earlier to fall asleep sooner and be so longer.
One day Andrew was daydreaming to be asked by Grace if he wanted anything for lunch they were ordering. Andrew responded, don’t you like stroganoff? I still want to try it. Grace was mad to storm off.
Tyler kept visiting with Andrew to hear and see him happier and happier each day to walk off upset and glaring at Grace.
SCENE 25
INT. THERAPIST OFFICE - AFTERNOON
One day, Andrew gets an email reply from an online psychic as he sat waiting for his Therapy appointment.
He opens it to read about how dreams can sometimes and always relate to real things. People we see in our dreams are not figments of our imagination. They could even be a person you just stopped at a red light to look over and see, took your order for food, or even a billboard with a dozen you don’t recognize solo.
His therapist calls him into session.
THERAPIST
Good to see you, Andrew. Tell me how you’ve been since the last time we met? Still having the dreams?
ANDREW
Oh, god, yes! Is it bad I love them? I never liked sleeping so much. I think I might love Rosie.
THERAPIST
And what makes you think you love her?
ANDREW
I think about her all the time. I am always looking at clients walking in hoping to see her.
(He leans forward)
She told me she gets the same food every week same place with a friend. I almost want to go everywhere on that day to order exactly that. The way she smiles, laughs, tells these cute little stories instead of one worded answers. Her eyes, the hair, the voice over all and did I mention her laugh? I love it!
THERAPIST
These are all healthy responses. I do think maybe after your accident, these feelings are being aroused by your body fearing to of missed out and help create them. To this Rosie, or someone else we can’t be sure. As long as your happy though-
ANDREW
Am I happy? It almost feels torcher.
THERAPIST
(laughs)
As the signs of love are told.
ANDREW
Love? Really? You don’t think I’m crazy.
THERAPIST
Not at all. Now, lets go over the basic and then talk about how works been. Is that fair?
ANDREW
Yeah... Do your job. And, thank you. I do feel good knowing you confirm I am in love.
THERAPIST
Love is a wonderful feeling. But, many get really hurt in the end or drastically have life changes. But, well see how this progress.
ANDREW
Kay.
The therapist write down that Andrew may be having side effects from the accident and medications to expect a full relapse in his note book for Andrew.
SCENE 26
DREAM SEQUENCE
Andrew was dreaming...
This time he looked down at his suit to concentrate and force himself into casual clothes. He sat down at a chair to look at his phone.
When Rosie walked in he smiled letting her go to the teller.
Heading to the exit, Andrew stopped Rosie.
ANDREW
Wow! I’m not doing anything the rest of the day. Would you join me for lunch? I heard the stroganoff is really good at this one place.
ROSIE
I absolutely love stroganoff! In fact I get it every Thursday with my friend when we meet up for drinks. We have been doing that for a decade now. I love her so much and wouldn’t know what to do if she went gone from my life.
ANDREW
I’ve had it from a box. Single guy, living alone, buy anything in the boxes, bags, and cans.
ROSIE
That’s better than fast food. Good for you.
ANDREW
So, is this a yes to lunch?
ROSIE
I think it is. I’m not needed elsewhere for a couple hours and could get away with lunch.
ANDREW
Great! Let’s go.
ROSIE
I see your shirt, pants, and even your socks are pink. Is that your favourite colour? We match.
ANDREW
I actually love blue! Am I guesses pink is your favourite by you wearing it and asking me about?
ROSIE
I lost my mother to breast cancer and during our final memories, I did grow a customed to it and try not to freak people out when I go home from work and match everything in my kitchen. Yes, I do like pink. The soft, light sort.
Andrew feels the dream fading. He stopped looking at Rosie in the bank parking lot looking at her and her lips as she stopped talking.
He leaned in to kiss her and woke up to his alarm.
He sighs and gets ready for the day, but happy to have a new experience in his dream.
SCENE 27
INT. THE BANK
That day he searched every restaurant near the bank that served stroganoff to only find a few. Then searched closer to his home. To search everything in the zip code and neighboring zip codes. Where he searched more branches of his bank trying to narrow down what restaurant to go to and hopefully see Rosie for real.
He got a phone call from Grace.
GRACE
You have special clients coming in soon.
ANDREW
Okay. Thanks for letting me know.
He hangs up For grace to be sad.
Tyler walks over.
TYLER
What’s wrong?
GRACE
He never tells me good job or details or anything. I think you’re right now. He is in love with someone else and I’m nothing.
TYLER
It took you that long to accept? Remember what Rich told you? Andrew is so different now.
GRACE
So, you spend time with him everyday.
TYLER
But I don’t like hearing him talk about some make belief girl he dreams about just to tell you. Being a gay man is much worse. You’ve seen him naked and I can only imagine.
A couple and their kid walk in.
Tyler walks off for Grace to smile and great the customers.
GRACE
Welcome! Oh, Andrew is right over there. So great to see you.
(She calls Andrew)
ANDREW
What?
GRACE
Mr. and Mrs. Leesh are here for you?
ANDREW
Send them in.
GRACE
Allread-
Andrew hangs up for Grace to be sad looking at the phone.
Andrew gets up to greet them.
ANDREW
Hi! Welcome! I am Andrew and can assure you I am the best to help you with your financial needs today.
MR. LEESH
Andrew! You’re doing well! I think?
ANDREW
Wait? I know you?
MR. LEESH
Yes, you should. That was quiet an eventful day when we last saw. We can in a few times after to be told you were recovering and then told you were back and just had to come in and confirm. Very glad your better!
ANDREW
Umm, wait?
(thinks deeply)
MR. LEESH
We just think it was very heroic what you did that day and wanted to give you pur thanks and this gift card to our favourite resturant.
ANDREW
Heroic? Oh, you mean the bank robbers!
MR. LEESH
Yes? Are you sure you’re all right?
(Hands gift card)
ANDREW
Yeah! Sorry. Been busy with ah... ah- lady friend. Distracted thinking of her. More odd, I thought you were someone else I seen with her a few times. That’s all. Yes! Thank you! I was very relived to know I was the only one harmed and the robbers put away for a long time. Maybe in 10 more years when you look at college options for the little guy there and my boss has retired leaving me in charge we will have a beer over it an laugh.
MR. LEESH
Guarantee that! If you may, we have a day planned.
(Walks off looking back)
You’re a good man and wish the best with your lady friend.
ANDREW
Thank you! I never had more confidence than I do now. Thanks!
Andrew stares at the family as they exit. He stares off thinking of his dreams where they sow up before Rosie occasionally.
Andrew reopens the email about who we see in dreams is always someone from real life.
He smiles to look up the restaurant gift card to see the place serves stroganoff and leave work early, being a Thursday to head there.
Grace and Tyler are furious to watch him run off so happy.
TYLER
They are just dreams? What did those people do to make him so?
GRACE
Think we can break him out of this? Or just break him?
SCENE 28
MONTAGE
Now, Andrew feels Rosie really is real somewhere!
He goes place after place that relate to what they talk about and places he went to frequently, like the grocery store, where he may of never paid attention to her.
He has Rich help him contact or find past hook-ups he forgot or ignored friend of to fail over and over in finding Rosie.
He hates only being able to go to one restaurant a week searching for her and no photo to show asking if she is ever there.
SCENE 29
INT. ANDREW’S OFFICE - EVENING
Andrew had a list of restaurants within a 15 mile radius around his work, the hospitals he was in, and with everything in between that served stroganoff.
He looks at his watch to see it is nearly 5.
He smiles when his phone goes off with his friend Rich sending him a photo of two women.
Texting Rich back, that is not her. He picks up a phone to dial the number of one of the restaurants on the list.
ANDREW
Hi! This is Andrew. I was wondering if you could do me a favor this evening? I’ve been trying to surprise a special lady in my life, only I do not know what restaurant exactly her and her friend go to. If at all possible, if a beautiful woman with long hair comes in with a friend named, Rosie, order stroganoff, to drink with her friend, could you by any chance give me a call?
(He pauses)
Great! Again, my name is Andrew. You can reach me at-
Fades out
SCENE 30
INT. RESTAURANT - EVENING -
Andrew sits at a table in a restaurant facing the entry.
He ordered a couple drinks, then stroganoff, and more drinks while looking at the occasional photos sent to him by Rich.
Hours go by.
Andrew kept an eye on the front door.
It is nearly 11 and the place is prepping to close.
Andrew pays his tab sad and calls a ride home.
SCENE 31
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT
Andrew walks into his apartment, stumbling. He enters his kitchen to take his medications.
He walks to his bedroom undressing.
Laying down on his bed, he passed out right away.
SCENE 32
DREAM SEQUENCE
Andrew’s eyes open.
He wakes up and gets ready for work.
Entering the bank, he realizes he is dreaming.
Slightly upset, he notices Rosie.
He rushes to her.
ANDREW
Rosie!
ROSIE
Good morning, Andrew.
ANDREW
Looks like you’ve done your morning tasks already.
ROSIE
Yep! And now that you’re ready we can move onto the next steps.
ANDREW
Next steps? What do you mean by that?
ROSIE
You know, we’ve gone through the basics. Now, we need to delve deeper.
ANDREW
(Blushing)
Really? That-that sounds perfect.
ROSIE
Great! Now, could you tell me anything about learning to ride a bike? Or even your first pet you owned as a kid? Maybe, the first time you experienced death in life?
ANDREW
Oh! More questions.
(Non-chalant, nervous)
I thought you meant... umm...
(Nervous)
Never mind. Can we walk?
(He steps beside her gesturing his hand. Rosie nods yes)
I can answer all of these.
(He opens the door of the bank for Rosie to pass)
I first learned to ride a bike when I was 5-
Fades out
The bank door shuts the dream sequence. To open in the real world.
SCENE 33
INT. THE BANK - MORNING
Andrew walks into the bank and opens it.
When Tyler arrived for his shift, he called Andrew over who was walking clients out.
TYLER
Andrew!
ANDREW
Yeah?
TYLER
Well?
ANDREW
Yeah..?
TYLER
Tell me about the restaurants. It’s been a month. There can’t be that many places that serve stroganoff.
ANDREW
Oh. Umm-
(he looks away)
Not good.
(sad)
And my dreams have been different.
TYLER
Different? How? Do tell!
(inquisitive)
ANDREW
(leans into teller booth)
Instead of Rosie walking into the bank, I keep running into her walking out. She now askes me of my past and I try to ask her of hers to end up waking up.
TYLER
Interesting.
ANDREW
Before it felt like we were led to something more and I was being denied. No matter how much I tried in my dreams I would be cut off. Now, it seems I am missing out prior to be rushing knowing the end is nearing.
TYLER
I’m no dream expert, but I am a bit jelly that you get to experience so much. I have noticed a slight change in you lately to. You’ve worked here longer than I have, even trained me, so I do look up to and pay a lot of attention to you Andrew.
(taps his shoulder)
Just know, we all want the best for you. Since the robbery, you’ve been different. I’m sure I would be too enduring such. But, I know being here all day at work I have developed some fantasies I wish were real too. Real life sucks. Our imaginations either torcher us or push us to make drastic life changes. Jus-Just know,
(He gazes at Andrew to take a step back and nod)
I support you. As a work colleague, and if ever chance outside of work, friend too.
ANDREW
Thanks.
(He looks deeply into Tyler’s eyes feeling the emotions projected to him. steps back)
You were a great hire. Maybe we can have more drinks and share your life aspirations. AS a boss I feel selfish to be talking only of myself. Oh!
(a client walks in)
Excuse me.
(greets the customer)
Mr. Granite! Hi! Welcome.
Andrew greets the customer to lead them to his office.
Tyler talks to himself in a low pitch staring at Grace across the bank.
TYLER
Andrew, Andrew, Andrew... oh-
(He squints his eyes at Grace drooling over Andrew walking by)
Go ahead Grace. You’re so dumb. Gawk. Fantasize. He don’t want you. He-He... He wants
(Sternly walking away)
Rosie.
SCENE 34
INT. THERAPISTS OFFICE - DAYTIME
Andrew sits and waits for his therapist to be called in.
He sits down across from his therapist.
THERAPIST
How have you been?
ANDREW
Good. Good. I think.
(he leans forth to adjust his clothes and fold his hands between his knees)
I can’t stop thinking about Rosie.
THERAPIST
The woman you’ve been dreaming about. Have these dreams sustained as you told me? Or progressed?
ANDREW
That’s the thing.
(He sits up to slouch in his chair taking a deep breath, looking up)
I feel like they moved forward beyond what I wanted.
(he looks at therapist)
I wanted more beyond what we had and feel like it skipped to be past wanting to go back.
(Shakes head)
Insane. I know.
THERAPIST
Claiming accusations is not wrong. I can see a difference in your being.
ANDREW
Heh! Accusations? I feel like I’m just going to wind up in the coo-coo house.
(Sits up, crossing arms)
I’m finding it hard to be at work dreaming of Rosie.
(looks away)
I want to be in my dreams. Work is so tedious and when I sleep...
(gazes off)
THERAPIST
You find satisfaction in your dreams, by this Rosie, and reality is boring. Correct.
ANDREW
Yeah...
(slouches again)
Am I crazy?
THERAPIST
We don’t use the words crazy here. I simply therapy with verbal communications and interactions. I am hearing and been understanding your desire with this... Rosie, and how it is influencing your life. I feel the future is going to drastically shift.
ANDREW
What does that mean?
THERAPIST
It simply means I am allowing you to know that in the near future your state you’ve had for a while may have been influenced by your medications. Your recovery has been accentual! Where I am here for you as I anticipate changes nearing.
ANDREW
What?
(Sits up clenching armrests of the chair)
THERAPIST
(Takes off glasses)
I am here for you. As everything is about to change.
Andrew thinks and relaxes.
The therapist looks and examines Andrews to write down in his notes for him to watch and expect heavy relapses.
SCENE 35
INT. PHARMACY - MORNING
Andrew woke to see only 3 days left of his medications.
He calls his work when driving out of his apartment garage of being late.
Stopping at his pharmacy...
PHARMACIST
Looks like you’re all done with most of these. Says, you still need these. Typically, one suffered a terrible injury resulting in blood and brain trauma. I’m glad you made a great recovery!
Andrew takes his medications without thought.
SCENE 36
CONTINUOUS
Andrew continues his life and work as it has been.
All, but one, of his medications runs out.
Andrew thinks nothing of it.
He tosses and turns at night, unable to sleep.
After a few days he is stressed.
Over thinking of Rosie.
He isn’t sleeping well. Yawning at work, nearly passed out driving one day to work, another his way home.
He shows up to work being shaky, frantic, unable to concentrate, defensive, and clearly distraught.
SCENE 37
INT. THERAPISTS OFFICE - DAYTIME
One week later...
Andrew meets with his therapist.
He taps his foot in the lobby, early, and anticipating his appointment as others go in and out.
The secretary sends an email to his therapist.
The Therapist reads it and thanks her for the information to walk down a hall and bring Andrew back to his office.
THERAPIST
How are you, Andrew?
ANDREW
Not good. I haven’t been sleeping well the past week. Been so tired at work. I almost fell asleep driving a couple times.
THERAPIST
Sleep is important. It will be an adjustment, but your body will return to its normal sleep routine once the withdrawals of the medications you were on wear off.
ANDREW
Withdrawals? I’m no addict.
THERAPIST
No. But, anyone will experience the symptoms when they cut things out. Most people are addicted to caffeine and if they had the willpower to remove it from their lives, they to experience the withdrawals. Shaking, fever, hot&cold sweats, unusual or no appetites, concentration instability, and of course abnormal sleep patterns. I can give you some brochures if you like, there are numbers to call to help you through this.
ANDREW
I don’t think that’s necessary. You’re saying I’m completely done with those medications and just have to adjust?
THERAPIST
Exactly. I have full confidence in you. The first week is the hardest. Some relapse after a couple, but in your case you will experience a higher desire for it, but then about after 30 days your body should have flushed it out to start producing your own chemicals again.
ANDREW
Oh-kay...
(He sighs)
I miss Rosie, a lot.
THERAPIST
Rosie was just a dream.
ANDREW
It was more than a dream to me. Everything felt so real.
THERAPIST
Perhaps, it is common when facing a near death situation, your brain gave you these dreams to show what you are missing or almost missed out in life. When was the last time you went on a date?
ANDREW
A Date? Umm...uh-I guess before the accident. What? 5 months ago? If you could even call it a date. It was more of a hook-up.
THERAPIST
Hook-up or not, I suggest you try to connect or at least get to know someone in the real world. Not saying you will get married, but it could help. Even if you are having issues sleeping, you may be able to have some fun, instead of laying around in bed trying to sleep when you can’t.
ANDREW
Alright.
The therapist writes a note about Andrew suffering major withdrawals and psychological attachment.
SCENE 38
INT. CLUB - NIGHTTIME
Andrew takes his therapist’s advice.
That weekend, he went out drinking with Rich, like the old days, before Andrew’s injury.
RICH
This feels so good!
(Reaches arm around Andrew’s shoulder)
I missed this.
(Hugs him)
I missed you.
(Pulls away)
I never want to experience what you went through, but I have been telling people my best bud was in that bank robbery. Totally cool, bro! Just sad, how down you’ve been. And that obsession with this Rosie girl from your dreams...
ANDREW
It’s painful.
(Looks around the club)
I haven’t seen her in over a week.
RICH
You mean you haven’t had an unusual dreams and when on those medications call your doctor right away, where you waited?
(laughs)
He nudges Andrew to laugh. Andrew has dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep.
ANDREW
My therapist thinks my brain is causing these dreams as a near death experience showing what I have lacked in life or need to do with it now.
RICH
Get married, have kids, own a dog, loose your hair, those sort of things?
ANDREW
Yeah.
RICH
We ain’t getting any younger! Come on! Let’s go hunt!
(Chugs his drink)
ANDREW
Chugs his drink to follow.
SCENE 39
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - NIGHT TIME
Andrew ends up brining a girl home for the night.
He tries making her food to be pulled into the bedroom.
He is unable to perform.
DRUNK GIRL
What’s the matter? You on something and not sharing?
ANDREW
I’m sorry. I haven’t really been myself lately.
DRUNK GIRL
You’re friend told me you were in some sort of accident?
ANDREW
Yeah, I’m fine now. It’s... it’s this other woman I met after.
DRUNK GIRL
Ohhhhh, I get it. Awww! I think you love her! I wish I wasn’t so wild to try and love one man. I know many love me every week.
ANDREW
You think I love her? You’re the first to support me.
DRUNK GIRL
Trust me. I’ve been with so many guys and the ones with wives and girlfriends, starts out fun and half of them end up like this to go back to them. Makes me feel sort of like cupid.
ANDREW
I-I’m sorry. I can call you a ride. I’m really tired and barely been sleeping. You seem like you can still do more with your night.
DRUNK GIRL
Okay! I get it. I’m so horny anyways, I need to get me my fix.
(Stand up)
Unless...
(Looks at him)
I gots lots of friends. I can get stuff that will get you up in no time!
(crawls back on bed)
All night long!
ANDREW
Nah. Not this time. All I can think about is Rosie.
DRUNK GIRL
Darn.
(Pouts lips)
Then, I’ll go have fun without you.
The drunk girl stands and stumbles getting dressed. Andrew walks her to the door.
ANDREW
I am sorry. I need to get as much sleep as I can. I have barely been getting an hour or two. The ride is downstairs outside the door.
DRUNK GIRL
Not a problem.
(She walks down the hall)
If you change your mind-
(turns around)
I can get anything! Even stuff to help you sleep.
ANDREW
(Stares)
Uh...
(she walks off)
Thanks.
(Screams)
I’ll think about it.
DRUNK GIRL
(looks back at elevator)
Just call me! Have a good night.
ANDREW
Alright. Bye!
DRUNK GIRL
Bye!
(waves and blows kiss)
Andrew closes his door to leans on it with his elbow. He thinks about Rosie. He goes to his bed and tries to sleep.
Picking up his phone many times with the empty sleep aids he was taking in hand. He fights the withdrawals.
SCENE 40
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - DAY
Andrew did not sleep all night.
The bags under his eyes are worse.
He looks at his calendar.
He pulls out the empty prescription bottle from his pocket.
He sighs to call the girl from last night.
DRUNK GIRL
Andrew! You ready to have some fun!
ANDREW
Not sure about fun, but I think I will take you up on getting some help sleeping.
DRUNK GIRL
That actually sounds great. I’ve been up for 2 days! Meet me at the coffee shop around the corner from the club, say... 2 hours, kay!
ANDREW
Sounds great.
DRUNK GIRL
Byeeeee!
Andrew smiles. I’m going to see her again. Rosie.
He looks out his apartment window at the city.
ANDREW
You have to be out there. I’ve seen you somewhere, someplace, outside of my dreams. I’ve done all the research.
He drinks coffee.
SCENE 41
INT. BANK LOBBY - DAY - JEALOUS
Grace sits at her desk.
Tyler walks over.
TYLER
Guess what my friend saw last night?
GRACE
A new apartment with a spa?
TYLER
Uck, I wish. Someday. No!
(He sits on her desk)
Andrew.
GRACE
Where!
(Excited)
Doing what? With who? He didn’t find that Rosie girl?
TYLER
At the club. With Rich. Drinking.
GRACE
Yes! Oh my god. I’ve been waiting and not going myself. You think this is a sign? Both of us, going back to then bond over-
TYLER
He left with a woman.
GRACE
What!
(denial)
I mean. He needs practice before me. Right?
TYLER
I’m not sure. Just thought I’d let you know.
GRACE
Well, if he’s back to his old self, maybe he will be there again tonight. Or even that stupid sports bar, what games are playing?
TYLER
Wow. Jealous much?
GRACE
I wouldn’t call is jealousy. I think of it more as an obsession. The more you think about and put your mind to the more likely it is to happen.
TYLER
That’s usually with yourself and your own life. What you have is borderline of stalking.
GRACE
I don’t stalk him. I just happen to go places he is at. I mean lots of people watch Baseball. Like you. You’re going to come with me to the bar tonight. Yes! There’s a game.
TYLER
(sighs)
Okay. You’re buying.
(walks away)
GRACE
No problem. I owe yah! I need to get in early before something else happens.
Grace looks at photos of Andrew she has taken of him at the bank and out in public places. Only a couple she is in with, always with others.
SCENE 42
EXT. SIDEWALK - AFTER NOON
Andrew waits drinking coffee outside the coffee shop.
He smiles when the girl shows up.
They walk.
Andrew hands her cash and she hands him a bag with pills in it.
DRUNK GIRL
I couldn’t get the exact stuff you asked for, but I guess these are generics. And for what you’re paying my guy even threw in other things that help you sleep to. Sort of a buffet to try. If your happy, he will be happy.
ANDREW
Thanks. I am happy. When I get a full nights rest, I can see Rosie again.
DRUNK GIRL
Aww. How sweet. You’re a great guy. So great-
(She squints)
Think you can call me a ride to the club? I did do a favour for you and got nothing from you last night.
ANDREW
Yeah. Not a problem. I have to get my car anyways.
Andrew calls a ride.
In doing so, Grace was stopped at a light to see him across the street with the drunk girl.
GRACE
Andrew?
(She takes his photo)
Not her! Please!
(She texts it to Tyler)
No!
(He texted back)
Why would he want that druggie skank? I am more slutty than her!
She tries to turn around and follow them getting into a rideshare and looses them.
She texts Tyler, that they have to go to the club instead later.
Tyler sends a smiley face and tells her she is still paying.
SCENE 43
INT. SPORTS BAR - EVENING
Andrew walks into the sports bar.
RICH
Andrew!
He is called across to go sit with Rich.
ANDREW
Give me a pitcher of Budweiser.
RICH
Yes! Andrew is back! I’m so happy! Please tell me I don’t need to go to any more restaurants ordering stroganoff taking photos of women.
ANDREW
Naw, I think I’m moving on. Like everyone says, they were just dreams. Rosie isn’t even real.
RICH
I think you need to find someone like Rosie. Speaking of which, how was that girl from last night?I Heard she does anything.
ANDREW
Umm... We were both drunk. Nothing reallyhappened. I saw her for coffee this morning though. I think we will see each other again.
Andrew puts his hands in his pocket to make sure he still has the bag of pills.
RICH
I just want you happy, bro! You’re happy then we can both enjoy this game. Who’s your guess?
ANDREW
Ummm....
(pours drink into glass)
I haven’t seen anything this season. I’ll just go with home.
RICH
Putting money on it? I like a blind bet. I’ll start with our drinks and food on away.
ANDREW
Done!
He threw down a $50 bill on the counter.
He gets trashed with Rich.
So drunk, he actually fell asleep on his couch watching a movie with him later.
SCENE 44
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT
Andrew woke up with a hang over the next morning on his couch.
He makes coffee to walk into his room and see Rich passed out in his bed.
He starts the shower to take off his pants and hear the bag of pills drop.
He frantically picks them up to lick his lips and think. Looking at himself in the mirror holding the bag of pills he smiles.
ANDREW
(whispers)
I can see her again, tonight.
The day goes on. He eats food watching more sports games with Rich till the afternoon on a streaming service.
As soon as Rich leaves he dumps the pills on his counter and starts typing in the numbers to see what is what.
He finds the Zyprexa and sees it is a generic from Xanax.
He takes it smiling to continue watching an old game.
In a couple hours Andrew fell asleep on his couch with a smile.
SCENE 45
DREAM SEQUENCE
Andrew is dreaming of driving to work.
He looked over to see Rosie driving.
Happy, he tried to roll down his window, with his car not having any buttons. He tries to honk and no sound emits. When he looks up, she is gone. All the traffic is gone.
Steering the car to the exit, he drives down the ramp to park in the banks parking lot.
Andrew tries his best to keep himself in the parking lot.
He has lost some of his ability to control/lucid dream.
Fighting to try and stay outside, unable to with the dream.
He bumps into a woman entering the loby.
ANDREW
Oh, sorry.
ROSIE
Good morning, Andrew. You seem panicked. Is everything alright? Should I come back in a little bit?
ANDREW
Rosie! No. I-I’m fine. Stay. Please. I just thought you would be coming from that direction. Wow.
ROSIE
Usually, but my routine now requires me to change things up. You are unaffected by this, but someone else needed this switch.
ANDREW
Someone else? What does that mean?
ROSIE
Very funny. Shall we begin?
ANDREW
Begin?
ROSIE
Yes, it’s Tuesday. Change and warm up. I shall fetch the equipment.
ANDREW
Equipment? Wait? What?
Andrew wakes up from his alarm going off for work.
SCENE 46
INT. THE BANK - NOON
Andrew is more calm at work again.
He thinks about the dream and if maybe he seen Rosie at a gym or where equipment would come into play.
ANDREW
(to self in office)
Maybe, I watched too many games yesterday? Not sure where equipment would come in? Yet, Rich and I get hammered whenever we go to the gym.
Grace is watching Andrew from her desk.
She messaged Tyler from her computer to his phone, he has been talking to himself for, like, 20 mins.
She is irritated Tyler ignores her message.
Grace thinks and looks around, checks a calendar, to pick an appointment and call Andrew on his office phone.
ANDREW
(Answers)
Andrew speaking.
GRACE
Andrew, hi! How are you?
ANDREW
You asked me this when I walked in today already. What is it?
GRACE
Oh, I was just asked to confirm your appointment with Mr. Chavez tomorrow at 3?
ANDREW
Yes. That’s your job, not mine. I will notify you if I need to change things.
He hangs up to be reading stuff off his computer of dreams.
Grace is sad. She sees Tyler looking at her.
GRACE
(Pretends to talk on phone)
Silly me, I guess I knew that. Thanks a lot. No... You have a great day.
She hangs up the phone smiling at Tyler.
Tyler messages her back, what fake act was that?
Grace messaged back, no act just setting up the expectations I will make happy.
Tyler responded back, W/E. (Whatever)
SCENE 47
INT/EXT. City/Cars - Night Time - Stalking
That night, Grace followed Andrew home.
She watched him stop at a fast food place.
In the drive threw she saw him take a pill.
GRACE
I thought his meds were done. It was that bitch! I knew it!
She smacks her steering wheel and looks up the drunk girl’s social media to see nothing with Andrew on it.
GRACE
What does she have that I don’t? I can do drugs. I can get him drugs. Yeah... That’s what I’ll do.
She drives home after Andrew turns into his parking garage.
NEXT DAY
The next day, Grace does the same thing.
Just as Andrew drives out of the Bank parking lot, Tyler walked up to her window to scare her.
She rolls down the window.
TYLER
What are you doing?
GRACE
Does it matter?
TYLER
Let me in.
Grace unlocks the door and Tyler sits to buckle.
TYLER
Well? Drive.
GRACE
Where?
TYLER
(rolls eyes, faces her)
Exactly where you were going.
GRACE
Fine.
Grace drives.
TYLER
Hey look, there’s Andrew. I wish I had a car like that. Wait-
(He sighs)
You’re stalking Andrew.
GRACE
No. Maybe. Does it matter? I’m going to save him.
TYLER
Save him? From what? The creepy co-worker fallowing him?
GRACE
I just need to confirm something I saw yesterday.
TYLER
(Curious)
What did you see?
GRACE
Ummm-
TYLER
You’re going to tell me sooner or later or be mad if I find out on my own or get in the way of whatever stupid thing you are trying now.
GRACE
Fine. Andrew was not himself the past 2 weeks.
TYLER
He hasn’t been himself for months since the accident. I know he wasn’t sleeping getting off his prescriptions.
GRACE
Exactly. And this week he’s not tired, but not talking of Rosie all the time.
TYLER
And...
GRACE
I saw him take a pill last night. I also know that bitch from the club is a druggie.
TYLER
I think I would take a druggie over a stalker from work. How do you think you will save him? Blurt it out and possibly have him arrested to end up homeless then you take him in after causing it?
GRACE
I didn’t think of him being arrested. I definitely do not want him to loose his job. Look!
Andrew took a pill when driving.
TYLER
Maybe they refilled his prescription.
GRACE
No. I called.
TYLER
What? You called?
GRACE
Yeah. I’m his secretary and was just wondering when his next prescription was ready to be filled as they said no more. He had me do it last month and no harm.
TYLER
Grace, I think you should see a therapist. Even if you have to be creepy to see the same one as Andrew. You need help.
GRACE
Don’t worry. When we are together everything will be fine. I will get pregant and be at home with our child and know he would be at the bank and otherwise at home with me.
TYLER
Marry him? I doubt that will happen.
GRACE
It might. I will get sex out of him or threaten him about the pills and that druggie girl from the club. All I have to do is not take my birth control one day and poof, pregnant.
TYLER
Blackmail? And what’s in it for me?
GRACE
What?
TYLER
Yeah! What do I get out of this? Blackmailing your blackmail!
GRACE
You can’t do that.
Tyler takes a video of Andrew driving and of Grace.
TYLER
Too late.
GRACE
I-I don’t know. What do you want?
TYLER
Right now, a big juicy steak!
(He points to a resturant)
We’ll start there.
GRACE
Uuugghh. Fine.
TYLER
When you live with Andrew, I’ll go from there. I seriously doubt you will succeed in blackmailing him. He’ll just fire you.
GRACE
He can’t do that. I would have to at least train someone to do my job anyways.
TYLER
No need. I do your job 2 days a week, sometimes 3 or 4 when you get lazy or period.
GRACE
Damn-it.
TYLER
I’ll think of something.
GRACE
What is? No, maybe... what if? What if I swap one of his pills for something psychedelic? Or forgetting? I know that girl can get custom things.
TYLER
Now you want to date rape him?
GRACE
Date rape drug! That could work! I’ll let you have him first. I know you’ve always wished you could.
TYLER
(stern)
Don’t even go there Grace.
Grace takes her card out to hand it to Tyler as they were parked outside of the restaurant.
GRACE
Here. Take my card. I’m going home. I’ll even call you a ride home when your ready. Just think about it.
Tyler is emotionless taking Grace’s card to go inside the restaurant alone.
Grace drives off planning.
The week continues for Grace to follow Andrew each day from the bank to home.
SCENE 48
MONTAGE
****** Feeling Good, Michael Buble’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Edwsf-8F3sI
The week ends, for Andrew to not go out with Rich and sleep. He gets home Friday night to take one of the other pills he got from the drunken girl.
Here is a montage of clips. Andrew is now dreaming more and more of Rosie, back to controlling them. Back having conversations, making her laugh, he laughs with, just overall a perfect couple, if not in a dream.
The next week of work, he is energized all day to go home and pass out to keep dreaming of Rosie.
A couple weeks pass and Andrew gets more drugs.
Grace hangs out with the drunk druggie girl to also get a bunch of drugs.
She is still buying and spoiling trying to convince Tyler in on her plan.
One night, Andrew takes a new pill.
He researched on his phone it would have psychedelic effects.
Watching TV, he didn’t fall asleep.
Instead he began to hallucinate.
He jumped up so fast seeing Rosie in his apartment.
He hugs her to make her dinner and spend time with her.
Like having an imaginary friend, it is all in his head.
He was up all night to think he watched the sunrise with her.
He took her to his room and laied her down on his bed.
He closed his eyes to fall asleep all day.
SCENE 49
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - NIGHT TIME - CREEPY OR CARING?
Andrew missed work.
Grace is pounding on his door.
Andrew wakes up. His phone is dead. He sees it is just after 7 p.m.
He answers the door in his underwear.
GRACE
Andrew! Thank god you’re okay!
ANDREW
I’m fine. Why are you hear?
GRACE
You missed work. Nobody could get ahold of you. We were worried you were in another accident.
Grace walks herself in as Andrew thinks hard.
ANDREW
I missed work? Didn’t I leave early? I just woke up from a nap.
Andrew has flashbacks of being up all night with Rosie in his apartment.
GRACE
You did leave early yesterday. But, you missed work today. Your phone goes straight to voicemail.
ANDREW
Oh, hmmm. Not sure what happened. Maybe I was catching up on that missed sleep I was having.
Andrew fake laughs closing his door to question why Grace was walking to his room.
ANDREW
Uh, Grace? Where you going?
GRACE
I need an explanation, Andrew.
ANDREW
My phone is dead. I guess I couldn’t wake up if my alarm couldn’t go off.
(He hurries to his room)
Why are you going to my room?
Grace sits on the bed to start taking off her shoes and un buttoning her shirt.
ANDREW
Whoa? Grace, stop.
GRACE
Don’t lie to me Andrew!
She stands to shove her pants off.
ANDREW
Grace! Put your clothes on.
GRACE
No, get naked with me. Or else I will tell everyone you are doing drugs!
ANDREW
Drugs?
(fake laughs)
That’s stupid.
GRACE
(Shows her phone)
I know you’ve been hanging out with this girl. I know!
ANDREW
(sighs)
Ugh. Fine. I just need more time to adjust. It was the only way. You saw what a mess I was without sleep.
GRACE
And I want you!
(She lays on her back)
Right now.
(she rubs her hands down her body)
Or, go to jail and loose everything.
ANDREW
Grace, come on...
GRACE
Yes, Andrew. Cum on top of me!
ANDREW
Please?
GRACE
Oh yes! Please!
ANDREW
(sighs)
Fine. We’ll talk after.
Andrew gives into Grace’s demand.
Afterwards, he makes her dinner and she looks around his place. She takes a photo of his drugs.
SCENE 50
CONTINUOUS
Andrew is being black mailed by Grace.
He is becoming more and more depressed, with most of his dreams interrupted by Grace waking him up in the middle of the nights.
She has him back to going to bars and clubs regularly again, but is not drinking to be doing his drugs.
Saddened that Rosie is always ruined by Grace.
SCENE 51
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - MORNING
He wakes one morning, before his alarm, to shove Grace off of him.
When dressing, he noticed his pants are loose. Looking in the mirror, he sees he has lost weight.
GRACE
What’s wrong?
ANDREW
(shocked)
Oh. Just, been losing weight. I have the day off to see my therapist this afternoon. Maybe, I should hit the gym.
GRACE
That would be great! I have been working you out pretty hard lately. I’ll allow it.
Andrew rolls his eyes to grab pants that he can wear a belt with to keep them up.
Grace gets up to shower.
SCENE 52
INT/EXT. ANDREW’s CAR
Andrew sits in his car to look at himself in a mirror.
He sees his complextion is pale, some skin informalities, and hair dull.
He calls Rich.
RICH
What up my man? Still going crazy with Grace?
ANDREW
It’s been the most awful couple weeks of my life. I don’t know what to do.
RICH
I can tell you what to do, throw the bitch out!
ANDREW
Then what? End up arrested and ruin the life I built up?
RICH
Well, then quit the drugs.
ANDREW
What?
RICH
Grace told me. She even gave me a thousand bucks last week to tell you I had a date.
ANDREW
You’re supposed to be my friend.
RICH
I’m not friends with druggies. Knowing you for so long, I will make an acception. If you like, I will say its our friendaversay or some garbage and help you ween off this stuff for a weeekend. Go camping or something.
ANDREW
Thanks, Rich. I think you’re right. I never thought I would have resorted to such and with Grace around all the time, the drugs aren’t even working. I’m going to stop tonight.
RICH
Forever!
ANDREW
Right. Forever. Just don’t know how Grace will feel or react.
RICH
Let her be her. You said you couldn’t get it up when off the meds. Just use that. In fact, pay that druggie girl to block Grace.
ANDREW
I don’t think I need to do that. Guess will just see what happens. I’ll tell her my hospital bills came out and now paycheck to paycheck and I put the reward moeny into retiremnet.
RICH
Ha! Blackmail;ing golddigger will hate that.
ANDREW
Yeah. She’s been callling in so much. Wonderif I can convince my boss to give Tyler her job in full.
RICH
I’d wait going that far, but definitely stop doing drugs! I didn’t exactly like you on the medications, you hid all that Rosie stuff on the drugs, but since with Grace, my god, you two are an ear ache and I want to stop drinking so much to tolerate being around you. Or just have you. In fact, I will black mail her with the needing bro time!
ANDREW
Thanks. Well, I’ll let you go.
RICH
Anytime. And remember, no drugs!
ANDREW
Yes. I will stop.
SCENE 53
CONTINUOUS
Andrew stops taking the drugs.
Grace noticed right away when he was incompetent in the bedroom.
His depression returns with not being able to sleep.
Grace become agitated not getting her way.
One night out, Rich gets her phone to delete her photos and videos.
Andrew couldn’t be more happy.
He had been marking 30 days on his calendar to make sure he was clean before kicking Grace out.
Grace freaked when not finding her black mail photos on her phone.
She doesn’t know what to do.
Andrew had his bloodwork done to be happy showing clean and healthy. He noticed the scrubs the nurse was wearing were pink to think of Rosie.
SCENE 54
INT. ANDREW'S APARTMENT - NIGHT
Andrew was happy that Grace was gone.
Depressed more than ever.
He opened his medicine cabinet to see one drug sleeping pill.
Picking it up, he looks and talks to himself in the mirror.
ANDREW
What did I become? Why do I miss Rosie so much? Maybe-
(he puts the pill to his lips. He pulls it away)
No. Well... just one last time!
Andrew takes the pill to fall asleep smiling on his couch.
SCENE 55
DREAM SEQUENCE
Andrew is laughing with Rosie.
He takes a deep breath.
ANDREW
Well, this has been fun.
ROSIE
It has been. Always sad when I come back into these rooms to find someone new.
ANDREW
New? Wait?
ROSIE
Goodbye, Andrew. It is possible to see one another again. But, you may not recognized or remember me. The medications have a way of memory loss. You take care of yourself.
Rosie walks to the bank door.
ANDREW
Goodbye, Rosie.
ROSIE
Bye.
She looks sad and maybe could cry, for her image to fade away in spec of glistening dust.
Andrew screams loudly
ANDREW
I love you Rosie!
He takes many deep breaths.
He falls to his knees to start sobbing.
ANDREW
I won’t ever be the same. I love you. I love- you...
Andrew cries. He wakes up the next morning to be crying.
He gives up the drugs for good and accepts his depression.
SCENE 56
INT. ANDREW’S OFFICE -
Andrew is depressed and fighting the addiction of wanting to see Rosie again and getting more street drugs.
He has issues concentrating all day. Looking at the clock multiple times, to check work files, and see the time has not gone by more than a few minutes each time.
Irritable, he evades and isolates himself from his co-workers. To, make his appointments quick and lacking sales pressure and more spieling it out to get to the end fast.
Grace walked up to his office, nervous and slight smile.
Andrew gets up to walk over to the doorway with a blank face.
He stands close to look her down and over.
Grace smiles looking up.
Andrew steps back, glaring at her.
ANDREW
(sternly)
Get back to work.
He slams his door shut in her face.
Andrew is angry, turning around to step toward his desk and stop. He thinks and sees Rosie smiling in his mind.
Stumbling, with despair, he backs up till hitting the corner where the door and walls meet.
Andrew grabs his head holding in crying as much as possible.
His face turns red.
Biting his lip, a tears falls from his eye.
Soon after, a gasp of air exhaling out.
Sobs follow, for him to slide down against the corner and sit with his knees bent.
More tears fall from his face.
He cries and hugs his knees.
Grace had her ear pressed against the door hearing him to be sad herself.
Tyler walks over.
TYLER
Don’t you have work to do?
GRACE
Why is he being like this?
(She steps away)
TYLER
Uhh- Hello!
(He counts his fingers into his palm)
You took advantage of him. You tried to ruin his life. You need to get a life. You still stand her trying to out due everything you’ve already done. He finally experienced love. He may never again or have solace of knowing who, how, and why that woman.
(Raises voice)
Where I will also add in the blunt trauma, recovery, and now relapsing moment of life being as it is and never going back to how it used to be!
(Deep breath relaxing)
Like he said. Get back to work.
(Snooty, turn shoulder)
Or I will be glad to have your job full time.
Grace makes a face trying not to cry and hold in anger.
SCENE 57
INT. BAR - NIGHT TIME
Andrew sits very slouched staring at the TV at the bar of a restaurant holding his beer between both his hands and chin rested on it.
Rich sits next to him feeling sad looking over his friend. He chugs his drink to slam it down next to Andrew’s hand.
RICH
Let’s have a drink off!
Andrew looks at the empty beer bottle. Then, Rich. To go back to gazing at the TV.
ANDREW
Not tonight.
RICH
Aw, c’mon!
(Taps Andrew’s shoulder)
I don’t like seeing you like this.
(Looks at the TV)
I miss my best friend. I never thought in all our life we’d be like this.
ANDREW
What do you mean?
RICH
Look at you! I think this year’s been the fewest drinking competitions ever! Fewest games watched. Hell! We haven’t even been sharing woman.
ANDREW
I know. Just... a lots changed.
RICH
You can still be you. C’mon. Drink with me. Chug!
Rich raises Andrew’s hand up with the drink to get him to chug it. They both smile.
In a little bit they are both laughing and yelling at the sports game on TV together.
Everything was going well until Rich confessed.
RICH
See! My bro still lives! You’ve moved on from that Rosie chick, now you just gotta’ get back to your old life and everything will be fine. Even that nurse in the hospital said it would take time when I came to visit.
ANDREW
Visit? You never came to visit me.
RICH
Bull-fucking-shit!
(Flashes of visits)
I came many times in the first few weeks. Talked to you when you were in the coma state, helped make that list of things about you, and- I even helped move you from one bed to another. I know you were on some hard core meds, but you pissed yourself right there and pass out in it one time dude.
ANDREW
Really? I don’t really remember the hospital much. Just the florescent lights, being sponge bathed, fed... walking again... people in scrubs.
RICH
That one nurse you had was damn fine! Maybe you should go shack up with her and you will not think about Rosie no more. She may of had a mask on a hair up in a bun with glasses, but when chicks like that have a day off, uhhn! They look so fine! Every-time.
ANDREW
(drunk)
What do you have against Rosie, man? I don’t want anyone but her.
RICH
Dude. She ain’t real. Just some stupid dream.
ANDREW
(stands, stumbles)
She is real. I know it. I can feel it in my heart. I just need to...
RICH
You’re drunk. How about we go to the club right now for pussy?
ANDREW
No!
(Screams)
I love her! I love her so fucking much! God.
(Squeezes his head)
I think about her all the time. She’s sweet, she likes to tell cute little stories whenever you ask her something, her favourite food is stroganoff, her mother died of breast cancer for her kitchen to be all pink.
RICH
A pink kitchen? What? That’s all a dream. You made it up.
ANDREW
(Yells louder)
I’m not making it up! She’s real.
RICH
Andrew, listen to me.
(Grabs Andrew’s shoulders to look in eyes)
She-isn’t-REAL! All those medications you were on and recovering messed with your brain.
(sits down)
Just move on.
ANDREW
No! I won’t! I’m guna find her.
Andrew takes out his wallet to pull out whatevr cash he had in it and toss it at Rich.
RICH
Dude.
(Grabs Andrews wrist)
ANDREW
(tugs away)
Leave me alone. I’m guna see her again. She’s real. I know it. I just have to find her.
Andrew takes off running.
RICH
Andrew!
(Sighs)
ANDREW
Richard! I mean, Rosie!
Andrew runs out of the bar to start screaming for Rosie.
Rich sighs to chug his drink.
RICH
Andrew...
SCENE 58
EXT. CITY STREETS - NIGHT TIME - SEARCHING
Andrew is running and yelling, drunk through the city.
ANDREW
Rosie! Rosie! Where are you! It’s me! Andrew! Rosie!
He searches and runs for miles and hours.
The sun comes up for him to see he is near his therapists office.
Andrew stumbles to try and open the door. Drunk and tired he kneels to fall over passed out sleeping in the grass.
SCENE 59
EXT/INT. THERAPISTS OFFICE - MORNING - SESSION
The therapist came in early by call of a police officer who is just watching Andrew sleep.
POLICE OFFICER
Good, your hear. I didn’t want to disturb him and make him go psycho. I know not to interrupt any psychological issues going on. Is he okay? He’s not on drugs, right?
THERAPIST
No. Thank you. I’ll wake him up.
The therapist walks over to Andrew and kicks his foot.
THERAPIST
Andrew. Wake up.
ANDREW
I don’t work today.
THERAPIST
Andrew, you need to wake up and get out of the grass. This is not okay. What the hell happened?
ANDREW
Huh?
Andrew opens his eyes to see grass. He rolls over to see the police officer and his therapist with arms crossed looking down at him.
THERAPIST
Well?
ANDREW
Oh, shit!
(Stands up)
I’m sorry. I- I was drinking last night and then left, to be hear, and... guess I passed out.
THERAPIST
Very well. Come inside with me. Let’s have a chat.
ANDREW
(To officer)
Umm, I’ll pay the fine for whatever I did.
POLICE OFFICER
No fine. If he isn’t placing trespassing charges, then I can be on my way. Have a goo day, sir.
ANDREW
Thanks. You too.
THERAPIST
Thank you! Andrew, inside.
ANDREW
Right...
They walk inside. The therapist turns on lights, unlocks some doors, and opens a mini fridge to grab a cold coffee to hand to Andrew.
THERAPIST
Here, go have a seat.
They enter his office and sit across from one another. The therapist stares at Andrew for a few minutes.
Andrew opens the coffee and drink it looking back.
After some time, Andrew breaks the silence.
ANDREW
Umm... How are you?
THERAPIST
I am doing very well. Concerned about you. How is your morning?
ANDREW
Well... I didn’t mean to do this. I hope I didn’t do anything bad. I was just very drunk, I swear. Haven’t been on the medications so my tolerance was down from not when on and... umm... yeah...
THERAPIST
How has dealing with the withdrawals been? Any dreams?
ANDREW
It’s been hard. Very hard. I haven’t been dreaming at all. That’s making things difficult for me.
THERAPIST
In what ways?
ANDREW
Well, I can’t stop thinking about Rosie, from my dreams.
(grabs heart)
I can just feel her. I’ve done a lot of research online and it says people we see in our dreams we have seen in real life, even just someone at a drive up window.
THERAPIST
So you think these dreams are real?
ANDREW
No. I mean, they feel real. I think Rosie is real. That’s sort of what happened last night. I started running around shouting her name hoping to find her.
(giggles, slouches)
I probably looked like a moron.
THERAPIST
No need for name calling. I will ask again. Do you believe these dreams are real?
ANDREW
No. W-why would you ask again?
THERAPIST
Good. Just a precaution. But you do believe Rosie is real?
ANDREW
Yes. She just has to be. I can’t explain any other reason for my brain and heart to make me have those dreams other than to be with her.
THERAPIST
And if you do find her, say at the gas station pumping gas when you drive up. What if she’s married? Or what if she’s under age, maybe has the voice of a heavy smoker all scratchy?
ANDREW
Umm... I’m not sure. I guess just say hi, and reassure myself.
THERAPIST
What if she doesn’t like you? Like a friend of one of the woman you shacked up with?
ANDREW
Well... I guess... Um...
(he thinks)
I guess hope she yells and screams at me to move on as I have before?
THERAPIST
Good. Very good.
(Writes)
Well, I think that will be all. I just needed to evaluate your state and can simply claim this as a drunken mishap and your future actions are not needing monitoring. Okay.
ANDREW
Ok.
THERAPIST
Unless you have anything you would like to talk about further, you may leave. This session will be charged, just to avoid any dealings with the law that may or may not pop up later in the day. Otherwise, I wish you a wonderful day.
ANDREW
(stands up)
Likewise. Thanks.
Andrew leaves and goes home.
SCENE 60
CONTINUOUS
Andrew returned home. He called Rich to apologize and make sure nothing happened he didn’t remember.
He is bored and unfocused all day to drink again.
At work he is doing his best to stay busy all day with appointments and get his mind off of things.
A month goes by.
Andrew is nearly his old self. He even returned to basic greetings and small talk with Grace at work.
He returns to drinking with Rich often.
Rich notices an empty distance inside of Andrew forcing himself to be this way and reflects the same.
More time passes by and Andrew still has his list of places that serve stroganoff he has been going to on Thursdays.
Hi therapy sessions continued, normal.
Andrew wakes up for work.
He has accepted everything was just a dream to be back to his old life and nearly old self again.
He gets ready, puts on his pink tie, and heads to work.
Sitting in traffic, he smiled seeing another person wearing pink. He pick ups his tie to look at it and express sadness thinking about Rosie.
SCENE 61
INT. BANK - MORNING - LIFE
Andrew went through the work day as normal.
After he came back from lunch there was a line for him to rush his food to the break room.
He walks by a woman in scrubs with her hair up in a bun.
Andrew walks out to stop not looking at the woman talking.
ROSIE
I love your tie! That’s my favourite colour.
She takes out her bun for her hair to drape down her chest.
ANDREW
Oh, this. Yeah-
(he looks at her)
Rosie!
Andrew looses all his breath in shock.
Grace squeezes a pencil in half.
Tyler smiles with his hands on his hips.
ROSIE
Y-yeah.
(Thinking)
ANDREW
I can’t belive it! It’s you!
Andrew is so happy, he almost doesn’t know what to do.
He looks around to make sure it isn’t a dream and it really is real life.
ROSIE
Oh! Andrew! You’re hair has grown back. Sorry, most of my patients look the same when their shaved. Good to see you.
ANDREW
You’re patients?
ROSIE
(confused)
Yea-hhh. Are you okay?
ANDREW
I’m fine. I mean-
(He looks at her scrubs)
You’e a nurse. I mean, you were my nurse in rehabilition.
ROSIE
Yes. I know they put people on heavy sedatives in there, so I never expect to be remembered. But, wow.
(She smiles looking into his eyes)
ANDREW
Oh-my-god! Ahahah! This is amazing! Oh...
(Clears throat)
ROSIE
You’re looking well.
ANDREW
You like this colour due to your mother and breast cancer? Right?
ROSIE
Yes. You remember. That’s amazing. I think you said you like- blue? No, black?
ANDREW
Blue!
ROSIE
Okay. I just see so many patients.
ANDREW
No, no, no. It’s fantastic! In fact-
(looks at his watch)
Any chance I could take you out to dinner? I remember you like stroganoff? There is a great place not too far from here. I can meet you there shortly after 5.
ROSIE
That sounds great. I love stroganoff.
ANDREW
I know.
(Smiles)
Great! It’s a date.
ROSIE
Date it is.
(She smiles)
I’ll see you there. Looks like I’m next.
ANDREW
Oh, right.
(Looks at a sitting couple)
And, I have clients. Here, take my card and I will send you the address.
ROSIE
Perfect. See you at 5.
ANDREW
Yeah, 5.
Andrew walks off to greet his clients waiting.
Rosie gets to the Teller.
As she walked out of the bank, she stopped to look at Andrew through the glass.
He looked up to smile as she smiled back.
The movie ends.
We do not know if they have a good date or not or continue anything,
